I strongly suspect Blizzard is working on the models behind the scenes and no longer putting the changes on the PTR. A couple months before BFA launched, the updates trickling in for Vulpera and Sethrak suddenly came to a halt. I can only assume it was because they thought they were showing too much of their hand and moved their work off the PTR.
Ican agree with this. I mean updates for kul'tirans and Zandalar basically stopped too till recently. Like we didn't know the kul'tiran racials, the Zandalar racials got updated, and the moonkin form for kul'tiran.
I can see them doing it to stop the fighting that was going on. I mean there was a ton of it.

I concur. Might be a "No news is good news" type situation.

Apparently 8.1 PTR has A LOT of data that is heavily encrypted. Dataminers are struggling to uncover it. Could be more refined Sethrak models. Updated goblin/worgen models. (Because they want to wait until blizzcon to reveal them) And the racial abilities and classes for kul tirans and ztrolls.

It’s taking a lot time to come out with new allied races , people need be wary of blizzard development out put.

I really hope we get some origin or history lore on the Vulpera as part of their introduction quest line. As I start to plan out characters to play I'm starting to realise just how important it is to feeling like a proper part of Azeroth

If/when Vulpera become playable, I would love if the males sounded more like Kiro than the generic Male npc <3

Actually, it is intriguing that sethraks have Sethraliss as their Loa, but that I have not seen anything like it relative to the Vulpera.
I have not seen reference to some kind of faith that vulpera may have!
As mentioned, it would seem the Alliance openly attacks the Vulpera Hideaway in 8.1

Not really surprised. Vulpera in my mind were always going to be Horde only. I'm glad too as neutral races aren't so great, Pandaren practically don't exist in their factions i don't think Blizzard can handle it.

I never really wanted to stomp on anybody's dream since we don't even have confirmation of the being an allied race, let alone their choice of faction but... I too was pretty sure I saw the writing on the wall quite early on. I feel bad for the Alliance loyalists who wanted them though. It really sucks to have to choose between a race you really like and your established home and friends
I think most of us sussed out from the very beginning that the Vulpera would be Horde-exclusive, so Alliance aggression against the Vulpera was bound to happen sooner or later. The Vulpera NPCs in Vol'dun will now probably escalate from "just" being unfriendly toward Alliance players to attack-on-sight, like they were in Beta.
these supposed mech gnomes better be freaking fascinating.
