Vulpera Discussion Megathread (Part 1)

I remember them saying back in the day worgen and goblins could not be monks since their models did not get upgraded they lack the same bone structure as the updated models.

I would hope when and if the goblin and worgen models get updated they get monks.

I can see Vulpera learning the way of the monk.

Nope... In I believe 6.0 or one of the Draenor patches worgen/goblin got all the monk animations. They didn't have it in 5.0. You can check it now. Use a toy or something on a monk to transform into one of those races and they have ALL the animations.

The official reason was because their story was timelocked to right before the cataclysm expansion. But that's a bad excuse considering wandering pandaren are a notable thing.

It would literally make absolutely no sense for Vulpera to be alliance playable.
Wrong, it would make perfect sense.

The only thing being was the big wall in Gilneas... but the Scarlet Crusade had monks... who to say they didn't have relatives in the City before the wall was built? (that was pre scarlet crusade, after all) so a human monk trainer wouldn't be horribly outlandish.

And a panda in Kezan might be a bit weird, but they are known to travel the world.

Care to explain? Because I explained how it would not make sense. You haven't countered a single point. Which means they stand.

Do you know how awkward it would be if Vulpera went alliance? With Vulpera hideaway being hostile to alliance? And you can't exactly faction swap that area because a big portion of horde's vol'dun quests take places there.

It literally doesn't work.

With Vulpera hideaway being hostile to alliance?

Did they patch it? I wandered into the hideaway last week, and everyone in there was orange, unfriendly, but not outright hostile.

Might only be war mode.
Please don't. This game has gotten furry enough as it is.

Their is literally more playable elves then furry races... I think a few more won't hurt. And unlike elves all the furry elves look radically different from each other.

HEY! YOU CAN'T TAKE MY TRAIN AWAY FROM ME! That person isn't allowed on it. It's only Vulpera and Vampyr. Oh, and Void Elves I guess. They're kinda edgy.

Of course it works... Once the Vulpera fully understand what despicable things Sylvanas has done they will quickly make the move to the Alliance.

I didn't realize this but you are indeed correct. There are more elves than furry races.

Thus we need high elves and Fel elves added.

I think they added that joke to troll the players who said talking pandas were stupid.

Here's something I don't think has been discussed yet, since there's a good chance they will be able to be shaman, what would their totems look like?

If vulpera become playable maybe sethrak will follow.

Good question. If I were to guess, they probably will like like mini versions of their banners. Wood bound together with red rope and a little decorative fox tail/fox tail replica

One can only hope Vulpera already have so much added to their model hope we see something with the danger noodles.

I strongly suspect Blizzard is working on the models behind the scenes and no longer putting the changes on the PTR. A couple months before BFA launched, the updates trickling in for Vulpera and Sethrak suddenly came to a halt. I can only assume it was because they thought they were showing too much of their hand and moved their work off the PTR.
