That’s what they had going on in Legion too, but there was also his threat during the mount quest to forcibly take over the Ebon Blade if the Deathlord died on the iceberg. What’s to say that he didn’t take advantage of their distraction with the war to do the same?

My only complaint with vulpera is their heritage armor

I mean. I get it. They’re simple besides wanting the occasional shiny thing. ( Foxes are such a weird mix of cat, dog and possibly raven when it comes to their behavior ) Also it ties in to their desert life style.

The thing is it looks like something I could make with transmog with a few old pieces. So it doesn’t seem very new / polished to me. I had the same feelings towards the goblin heritage armor.

I kind of agree on the goblin heritage armor, but I am in love with the Vulpera heritage armor. I haven’t even been playing foxy dress up that much since I plan to powerlevel to 120 and equip the heritage armor immediately.

Personally the only problem i have with the heritage armor is its lack of anything to go on the feet. I mean sure, the Vulpera don’t wear actual shoes, but they could have at least have had wrappings around the legs like they do on the arms.

I don’t know why. But having one slot be left out bothers me.

As you can see my Vulpera will be wearing the heritage armour plus their tabbard.
I think it looks great!

I think the hood is doing it for me with my problem. I would imagine maybe something skull related for a vulpera. Since they could easily get some white bones from having them out in the sun.

…They’re a desert race with nothing to protect their paw pads? I take it the artists behind that never had to walk to the mailbox in arizona during the summer with no shoes on.

Nisha is the only one who seems to do the skull hat thing, though. The other Vulpera NPC’s either don’t wear headcover or wear a hood. And the heritage armor hood has earholes, which is not common in headwear. The belt is unique with pouches, etc. The cloak is a backpack. The pants is a new model. Even the shoulders have little daggers on them. It is subjective, but I think it is great as a set and as individual pieces to use elsewhere.

Real fennecs don’t wear shoes, so I assume it’s fine.

Well big ears like that help with heat. It’s why fennec foxes have HUGE earrs. So I can understand them poking out of the hood to help get heat out.

And I do like the pouches. and omg the cloak is a backpack? Okay that’s adorable. I didn’t know that. I love the little details but if you’re just casually looking at it from a distance its not very attention grabby. Ya know?

Vulpera are humble and practical. Well-designed but minimalistic really speaks to their spirit. For me, anyway. That style isn’t for everyone.

Yep. When you do the invasion WQ “Vulpera For A Day” and get a skull for yourself some of them remark on it. They correctly note that Nisha must have sent you.

Question.

This character is exalted with Voldunai, but is nolonger my main and as such does not have the best gear to go through the recruitment scenario for the Vulpera.

Does anyone know if we can do the questline on a different character to the one that is exalted?

You sure can. Once you get the achievement to their reputation that’s all you need to unlock the quest. Any Horde toon can do it

Unless they’ve changed something recently, gear probably shouldn’t be an issue. I did it on my rogue at 415ish ilvl on PTR, and it seemed like the mobs were scaled to around the difficulty of KT/Zandalar WQs.

(Or if forums mixed up posting chars as it tends to do and you’re exalted with someone else, it should still be fine if you’re 370. In theory.)

Forum posting didn’t goof, this is my main (437 ilvl) and Kahiru is my former main… hence why they have all my reps.

I honestly think I just want to do the recruitment chain on this character because this character is the one I’m most hype about being Vulpera. :'D
