a full 90%+ of the kicks Ive seen were NOT justified.

This lines up with what I’ve witnessed too. Some of the kick requests being absolutely absurd too. But people don’t want targets on their backs and go along with it.

When people are saying there is an issue with the current system, telling people what the current system is doesn’t really do any good. You can defend your belief in that current system sure, but using the argument of “Thats the way the system works” Is kinda weird. Thats the whole point, the system ain’t working and needs fixing. Pretty sure the OP even said “This needs fixed”

Sounds like you should be running premade groups. Not everyone plays wowhead builds in the game. If you’re unable to tolerate that, open matchmaking is not the best avenue for you.

I don’t kick because I never know who is on the other side of the screen. I had a healer once way back when that would struggle quite a bit in keys and turned out he had brain cancer.

They just ENJOY projecting their misery out into the game and ruining it for someone else.

Amazingly this still fits within the rules lol. If the majority are in the same mindset and deciding they don’t want to play with someone else, this is working as intended.

This thread is a lot of fun by the way. Watching people try these goofy mental gymnastics and still winding up in the same position is hilarious lol.

yeah, I only kick if the person is an obvious troll…and mostly I just walk out myself.
If theyre just struggling, tank, healer, DPS…this is a COMMUNITY game, as we’re reminded every minute in here…so as a community we should help the player learn to get better.

That’s a fantastic perspective.

It comes down to how you react to a bad driver. Is the first thing that strikes you “THIS IDIOT! GET OUT OF THE WAY AND LEARN TO DRIVE” or do you think “I wonder if they’ve had a rough day and are out of it.” or “maybe they’re just inexperienced/old and unsure of themselves”, etc.

Well, imo, too many people of the former’s mindset have access to a tool that ultimately does more damage to the community than benefits it.

I’ll often just let the box sit there, stop firing, sit there and wait for it to pass or fail. Im not voting if I dont see the behavior myself with my own eyes.

Vote kick should be removed from the game. It’s basically a Blizzard approved grief tool. If you can’t hack that some of the people in your group will not be perfect then roll pre-made groups.

Rolling PuGs used to be a badge of honor when you completed a dungeon… Now it’s a bunch of snowflakes that vote kick at the first sign of trouble… Pathetic.

You know what there was for difficulty modifiers before Affixes…that’s right, your team mates… toughen up.

I keep my eyes on EVERYONE.
Wife cant figure out why one driver I let get away with doing something…then the next one I’ll get irritated with.

The first guy clearly just had something weird going on…maybe had to swerve to get around a squirrel…whatever.
The next clown is literally driving like a nut, passing illegally, etc…putting everyone at risk around him intentionally and malisciously.

The first guy gets understanding.
The second guy can expect me to block him in so he CANT get around to put everyone in front of us in danger because hes a jerk.

Motivations are everything.
Motivations say “its not against the rules” when one is abusing others.

It comes down to how you react to a bad driver.

I react the only correct way to a bad driver; I try to distance myself for mine and others’ safety.

You should take defensive driving classes, IMO they should be mandatory for a license.

One time when I was on the road to the coast with my family. This car was swerving all over the road let me tell you what. There was no squirrel involved but their favorite food was. The things people do on the road I swear.
