so basically a computer is palying four people and you are playing one and that somehow is the equivalent of five individual people all doing their jobs and is just as difficult. yea im not buying it. basically you want an entire different solo game.
how do you expect people to have run it a few times when this is brand new content. someone has to go first lmao. at least they have the confidence to try.
Ok I was talking about the people smart enough to keep their mouth shut and just Leroy the dungeon.
I was specifically talking about the people that zone in and say “I’m new. Hold my hand.” Like I said and you didn’t quote.
Do you have any idea how a computer works? All any computer can do is follow a computer program. That’s it. Under my system, it’s the player that has provided the instructions on how the alts play. So you have
- A main controlled directly by the player through the User Interface
- Four alts controlled by a procedure set up by the player.
Now where do you see the computer deciding how the alts play?
In fact where do you see any computer deciding anything anywhere independent of a program?
Oh and what is AI? It’s a computer program written by a programmer.
so you would rather have someone run in and pull a bunch of crap that doesnt need to be pulled instead of just admitting they dont know something and asking for help? thats just weird. if a tank doesnt know what to pull a dps can easily show them the route. its not like dps dont love to pull stuff anyways.
so you have to individually program the computers every single move and action that they will do. and then what executes that plan oh thats right the computer does… so who is actually playing those chars? a program is. no to mention to have what you want would literally just not be the equivalent at all of m+. basically you want to turn wow into a tas. why stop at at you controlling a char at all and just programming the whole thing lmao.
You gotta step up to the plate.
Fall down a million times, get up a million and one.
You got this. Stick to it.
Vote-kicking is the one thing they refuse to police. I don’t expect it to change.
So it’s ok for the tank to be clueless but DPS and the healer is supposed to know what’s going on?
What they want is for Blizzard to segregate the game to the point that they don’t need to read complaints.
I have definitely seen an influx of superfluous kicks, even with slurs in them. I haven’t been kicked personally but I’ve had to decline more popups for kicks than I’d like.
Yeah same. There’s a lot more popping up recently in my personal experience. I rarely had to vote kick someone or saw a vote kick pop up in DF but now it’s maybe every…five dungeons or so I’ve seen someone get kicked?
I said nothing of the sort. Go back and read what I said. My suggestion was table and tree driven, not inline code driven.
Well yeah and I don’t understand why this bothers people.
So, when we sign up in LFD, we are asking a “robot” (in a sense) to match people for us so why are people getting all scruffled when the “robot” applies a debuff that prevents you from gaming the system?
We have options if we don’t want the “robot” to be in charge. It’s called M0 or M1.
if you’re consistently getting vote kicked i have some bad news for you
show me where i said that?
only seen one kicked so far and it was a tank who was a raging meathead
Maybe hot take but the problem is that it’s far easier to find a replacement than it should be. After a vote kick there should at least be a period of time where you have to wait to fill the role.
No?
so a computer would be controlling the char and making the detailed choices while you are giving it general orders. thats working out so well in delves right now.
