You just keep making it up as you go dude. Whatever makes you feel better when you sleep. You claim you did nothing and said nothing yet they made racist comments at you for no reason without any provocation??? Go sell that crap lie to someone else!! We arent getting the whole story here as usual. You got kicked because they didnt want to run with you PERIOD! No one kicks a player that says nothing and does nothing in chat to incite it.
lol, no risk assessment needed. It happened. What we have now is in response to that exact scenario. If there is no deserter debuff people have and will sit down and refuse to proceed forcing the group to kick them
So if it was just one time, why are you in such a snit over it?
So pretty much like anywhere else in the game?
Blizzard really donât care about thisn kind of stuff⌠be in a guild and run with them or else⌠they donât give a fine you know what. seriously they donât.
Sorry about your kick it is sad⌠this game has gone to crap with the lfr system.
Not true in this case. The OP said he was racially insulted which has nothing to do with tmog. Nice try though. The system worked well in this case I am 100% sure of it. You attempt to distract and change subject is applaud-able.
i was once kicked for adding weird spices on my food. true story.
so i que another dungeon. oh wells, people arenât perfect and we all need Jesus.
I tried to point this out yesterday in another thread I think, but people keep insisting it is abuse and itâs not. Abuse would mean that there is some sort of rule about what is okay when it comes to kicking people and there is no such thing.
You canât force people into random groups and then force them to play together if they donât want to. If 3 or 4 people agree that a person should be gone, even just for not liking their name, then they should be able to kick them. Are they jerks? Sure. Should people be more aware when a vote comes up? Definitely. This is the price we pay for random groups.
Always eat a deserter debuff with a guild group. The most obnoxious of them already knows he/she can get away with whatever he/she wants.
I canât vouch for the OPâs account, but I can vouch for the fact that these things happen.
Best way to avoid being kicked is to not stand out for any reason. Donât be top DPS. Donât be bottom. Donât type to anybody. Donât pull anything. Just get your loot and get out.
I have to agree.
Iâd rather be in a pug with four other strangers - than the non-guild in a guild run.
Depends on the guild, ours will only kick truly obnoxious people. Rest of it we donât care about low dps ectâŚ
I would love to read how you can build a system that decides whatever or not a vote-kick is legitimate or not, what constitutes abuse, and the motives of the players doing the vote-kicking.
Theyâre able to determine whatâs an issue in player to player content on fourms. Whatâs the difference in game? Iâve been kicked for being a certain class before. It gets quite rediculous. Then after you get kicked you get a cool downâŚ
Man some systemâŚ
Make them type a reason to kick?
Make the group wait a cooldown for kicking like the people who get kicked to incentivize toughing it out.
Reduce cooldown after getting kicked so your not waiting 30 mins after getting kicked from a dung.
There are ways to improve the system, but itâs one of those cases where nothing will happen and players will constantly complain about a system we donât like. Itâs a killer time investment when leveling new characters.
I feel ya, sometimes being the odd man out in a guild run is just asking for a votekick while others Iâve actually met some nice guilds, its a crapshoot.
I got vote kicked for asking tank to group adds and maintain agro with thunder clap because he kept spreading them everywhere and not holding any agro. Instead of me vote kicking him for playing his role bad I got vote kicked for non hostile advice when I was doing 3x the damage of everyone in the group. This is why this system needs fixing
I remember Blizzard saying that also.
Sure, it can depend on guild.
Generally speaking though, Iâve found guilds will look out for their own - long before they cling to notions of fairness to everyone in the group.
Love it
At least you can rest easy on the knowledge that if they were making racist comments and you reported them, theyâll get dinged for that.
