Vote kick cannot be abused

Well you’ve experienced getting kicked

As you admitted though you don’t actually know the reason you got kicked

You also agreed people are bad at self reflection and recognizing when they did something wrong

Do you get it yet?

You didn’t get kicked for no reason, you just don’t know or like the reason

Doesn’t make it just.

Remember, the majority of players agreed.

This is how the system works.

It’s how it’ll continue to work.

Be better in the future and cooperate with people.

The dungeon experience I’ve had over the past week says otherwise – saw a vote to kick prompt show up with the reason being ‘clownsuit’. I voted ‘no’. It passed anyway.

Maybe if they cooperated better, like Kennie suggested, they wouldn’t have gotten kicked. All they had to do was mind read ahead of time to know how to avoid it.

It’s very rarely “undeserved”. Very rarely. Like, thousands of runs and it’s always some problem player.

At least you admit it’s a possibility, unlike some. We are getting somewhere.

Same could be said about a certain system that was in place prior to abraham lincoln.

Just because something is in place doesnt mean its great. Honestly for being kicked, they should remove deserter, most people being kicked will have to already deal with the time wasted in the run, and then sit in que for 10-15 mins anyways. If you dont need a reason to kick you shouldnt be punished when it undoubtly will be abused by some.

Now for leaving a run? That was implemented due to the trinket from Ara-Kara, city of echos, and frankly was a bad response to the issue at hand. (Just put the desirable thing on the last boss of a dungeon and people wont leave when boss is killed, or do a loot chest at the end of the dungeon that contains the drops from all 3 bosses at once)

A few people slipping through the cracks is fine.

whats the deal with you and kids?

“Oh, the hunter buttpulled one mob that was cleaved down with the other mobs in the pack.” -kicks hunter-
“Oh, the tank died because clearly the healer couldn’t handle it!” (…except the tank pulled an entire pack of mobs around a corner from the healer, got stunned, and died) -kicks healer-
“Oh, I stubbed my toe on a rock.” -kicks healer again, somehow-

Then dungeon deserter needs to be removed. People shouldn’t have to stay in a dungeon that’s bad. If you try to vote kick a bad tank or healer most of the time the group won’t kick them and will kick you for initiating the kick on a tank or healer because they don’t want to wait. People need to realize that wipe after wipe after wipe takes a lot more time that waiting for another tank.

Are we making up scenarios that didn’t happen again

Nah, then people afk to get kicked out of dungeons they wanna skip

Blue explained this

I think if players wanted control over their group composition, they would not use the LFD queue system.

What is exploitative about using a feature for its express purpose? If players can be removed for no reason whatsoever, as the blue has mentioned, then how is it misuse?

Do I really need to spell out what “abuse” means and what it entails?

It would help

It’s literally just vibes. “If you don’t wanna play with them, for any reason”. People tryna argue like it’s a court of law to get something back when they were kicked and that’s where it ends.

Hold on I got this for you:

“Abuse means whenever I get kicked for any reason or also if someone else gets kicked for a reason I just don’t agree with”

That’s what that person would define abuse as.

Abusing the system: using it in a way that causes harm or unfairness to others.

In the context of the vote-kick feature: removing players for reasons that are unjustified or malicious.

Oh these people legitimately treat kicking someone as if it were a crime, it’s sad
