Is there any reason why the Shaman voodoo doll is abundant on the auction house but is 240g vs the average of like 10g for other classes? Can we do something about this please? Kinda unfair that I have to pay 20x the amount of everyone else. Add them to the real vendor. This is ridiculous. (Before you ask which server, it doesnt matter, the issue still remains)
It’s the cost of getting to be the tankiest class in the game.

Because shamans are the flavor of SoD. Many horde have shaman alts for how powerful they are so naturally the price will be significantly higher than others

I understand economics just fine. That’s why i specifically stated “the Shaman voodoo doll is abundant on the auction house” There is no reason for the price to go up when not the supply nor demand have changed. This comes down to stupid people thinking they “understand” economics, thinking “shaman is the most played class and I am a mega finance genius like wolf of wallstreet, im going to raise the price based on my genius level thinking!!” then all the simps follow. It needs to be addressed.
AH is a free market blizz won’t increase supply of a specific class or force people to sell cheaper the problem is shaman players are willing to pay 200+ so it sells for that n

It was the same thing for druids and pallies on the alliance side; the prices were jacked up hard…its just the FOTM classes, just like shamans lol everyone needs them. IMO they should just add the dolls to the real vendor.

It’s mostly classes with 4 different enchants that costs a lot. Shaman and Paladin one’s in particular, then it is Druids and the rest.
They can be abundant on the AH (same supply) and still sell more than the other classes’ (more demand). If people post something on the AH repeatedly and it doesn’t sell at that price eventually they try at lower price.
Paladins and Shamans are on opposite factions…

Because shamans are the flavor of sod on horde and paladins are the flavor of sod on alliance. This isn’t rocket science.

I checked the data and my original post is wrong so I’ll admit that.
As of yesterday 20.32% of the Horde has max level shamans while 16.88% has max level paladins (at least on Crusader Strike).
So I’m not sure about overall, but for my server. What you said is true.

I pay for a sub just like the rest of you. I should be given a similar experience as the rest of you.
When 1 class pays 10 gold for their doll, and the other pays 240, well, we’ve created inequality. I don’t pay for inequality. I pay for an active dev team that works on creating a fair play experience for all of us.
If this were real life, and I was complaining about minimum wage, I’d get your argument, but this is a video game that I pay for with my own money.
Regardless of what the trolls want to say, the issue with shaman dolls absolutely needs to be addressed. Price gouging shaman dolls because you think you are a finance bro just makes you actually look stupid. People think shamans are the most played class on my server, they arent;

So you literally have people price gouging items just because they “Think” they are worth more because they “think” shaman is the most played class. This is what happens when you let greedy idiots decide the price of something. It’s good for things like consumables and materials, but NOT for essential raid items that are generally considered part of your bis and progression.
It NEEDS to be addressed.
