For Mother Sharaz, requires everyone (except 1 tank) to have shadow resist gear and void spheres are the only way to get resist through gems.

Im only wearing 141 SR unbuffed, I got some extra t5 pieces, just stick void spheres in there good to go
On the ptr the mother fight has more hp that she did in the world first kill in 2007 by a few percent and had all the mechanics in place but with saber lash always debuffing tanks to avoid fa teleport that was a later bug fix abs indirect nerf to fight otherwise fight was working correctly. As such as assume will not change much.
Yet guilds where killing her in around 2 min with no shadow res gear 3 min for worse guilds that dint have full chicken or otherwise. She uses fa (the main reason you have shadow res gear) once every 45 secs starting at 30 secs in this means killing in sub 2 min you get 2 and sub 3 min 4 with the third happening at 2 min.
Each fa hits only three people abs if using Eng rocket boots can run abs break it without dieing easy if no shadow res gear as such most just used that. While for non Eng in the worse guilds usong a shadow res pot and having all healers but the rdruid and pally focus them so 3 healers 2 people would norm live abs third dieing to brez them instantly.
As such even with no shadow rez the fight was “rather easy”. Many found adding shadow res in fact made the fight harder if you had the dps to kill it before fa picked to many off. The knock back damage thou significant with no shadow res is quite healable with reasonable healers not worrying about mana as fight is so short if not using sr gear.
As such the only guilds that will really use shadow res gear gotten pre bt is the mid level guilds, lower end guilds will use the bt crafted gear that is better and mid level guilds will use a bit to take the edge of on healers as dps slightly worse.
