Doesn’t matter. Someone if they do flag something they see as spam is between them and the mods. And you’re not even dealing w people who flagged the post but people who gave a like to a post they felt was referring to frustrations about spam.
People are though, that’s exactly why we are having this discussion.
Again like I said before, the difference is that I look to the CoC and what gets people actioned instead of saying what I personally think is spam or trolling.

It’s almost as if different people interpret different things as in violation of the code of conduct because they’re different people.
Why is it that you think you are the only one whose interpretation of the code of conduct is valid and that everyone else whose views on what is and isn’t acceptable under the code of conduct are committing abuse.

But then their excuse for not knowing the context of the convo is that its too much work and not reasonable of us to expect of them?
Which is it are you putting in a lot of work into this role you’re taking on in the convo or aren’t you?
Also why is it okay for you to wave off reading the convo as a valid reason for not understanding the context of the convo but its not okay for others to interpret the coc differently or at the very least you’re expecting others to put in work to interpret mod decisions based on other threads

Now you’re using drugs as an excuse for your bad behavior along with playing the victim and not telling me why you think you are so special.
If you didn’t want to have your problematic takes pointed out maybe don’t have problematic takes. You should have known you own limits from the start.
The fact of the matter, to answer my own question as to why you are so special that you think you can police everything, is that you aren’t special or some authority that gets to decide whose interpretations of the rules are right and wrong and you are not of the authority to police reports.
In fact, I think you scolding people for “false reporting” is a violation of Blizzard’s rules against pretending to be a Blizzard employee.
The truth is the mods work the entire website, and possibly across multiple regions. There is also more than one. Ergo, they aren’t aware of the nuance and ongoing behavior of certain posters and don’t catch certain posts that are in bad faith as being bad faith. Like that trans post by the troll I posted earlier.
So even the mods are wrong sometimes.
And they’re not going to action someone for “false reporting” outside of maybe using alts to flag the same post multiple times because it’s impossible for the mods to tell who is and isn’t reporting in good faith. To do so would produce a chilling effect where people wouldn’t report anything for fear of banning no matter how egregious.
