Clearly your opinion is that they were insults and against the code of conduct, but clearly in his opinion they were not against the code of conduct or he wouldnāt have posted them.
How is that any different from legitimately feeling something is trolling, spamming, or in bad faith and flagging it?
Youāre sitting here trying to shame others for liking a post from someone who thinks certain types of threads are in bad faith (spam/trolling/etc) saying that those bad faith posts should be flagged, yet you admit to flagging something that in your opinion is not acceptable.
Why is it okay for you to act on what you believe is against the code of conduct but itās not acceptable for others to do so?

The difference is I look to the CoC and what mods have done in the past compared to people just saying āthey thinkā something is spam.

Iām confused
Are you putting in a lot of effort trying to police the forums or arenāt you? Because in some areas you do but others you donāt? But then try to shame others for not putting in as much work as you in the areas you do spend time on but then are very relaxed on the obvious other areas to pay attention to

How are non-mods supposed to predict which posts mods are going to think are bad faith?
Iāve seen plenty of bad faith posts that the mods have approved despite being bad faith.
For example, this was posted in bad faith. It was flagged as such but approved by the mods.
This thread wound up full of transphobic behavior as the troll who posted it intended.
Why is it that you are special and allowed to flag things you believe are in bad faith but no one else is?
