Void Elves: You are VOID, not blood

What are you even going on about? No seriously: Why are you suddenly talking about Blood Elves?

Out of nowhere, you made a claim that there were never High Elves as part of our current Alliance. That was a false claim. Period. Now you’re going off on a completely odd tangent. What’s that about?

The visual uniqueness is something that’s being taken. It’s not an option they’re losing, it’s the uniqueness of their character’s look being taken away by it being copied to the other faction.

Wanting to preserve uniqueness isn’t inherently petty though. That’s why you got the responses you did. You blanketly accused people of being petty.

Thank you! My adorable dwarf still exists. She is level 60 and a Necrolord. She’s my primary alt, but her gearing is behind. I’ve been lazy. She looks amazeballs, though. Overlook the gloves. They were a vault item I haven’t mogged, yet.

No, it’s not. Attacking someone for stating that Blizzard stated the new customizations were to give both sides “High Elf” customizations, and that hair color should also be part of that “High Elf” customization is petty, though.

High elves were not part of the grand alliance until they joined after the belf split. The vast majority of helves are now belves. And they’re horde. And why? Cuz of the other alliances racism. You wanna claim that for your alliance? Also… the ones yall talk about are neutral. They just are anti belf which isn’t the same as being alliance. Yes there’s tiny amounts of ally leaning helves, but those aren’t it. They’re just anti belf. Not pro alliance.

She looks awesome!

Except that’s not what was being adressed.

Blizzard already gave those customizations to live up the fantasy. You said it yourself.

And as I said earlier, the damage doesn’t need to be made worse for both races.

That’s not what happened though.

Naughtymoon is directly responding here to your accusation that her stance is inherently petty.

Are you sure you’re in the right thread? This post is about customizations for Void Elves and how Blood Elves feel victimized by Void Elven looks.

Oh wow…

That’s… a take…

You got belf customizations already. You don’t need any more. The fact yall want pallies and stuff prove that. Helves were rangers/mages. Even kt has a bigger chance of being pallies than velves do. You’ve thrown some pretty hefty words at people since I’ve been in this thread. If you want a lore argument with me ill have it, and you’ll lose.

Few things. First, I never played an alliance character until BFA. Heck, I’ve never spent more than 30 seconds in Duskwood, let alone level there. Secondly, I’ve never raised skinning until again, BFA. So skinning corpses in a zone i’ve never played in makes me a little less knowledgeable about said skinned mobs. Thirdly, I ran through Silverpine and SFK all the way back in vanilla back in 04, and haven’t been back since. The memory is a tad shot as that has been a good 15+ years since stepping foot into said dungeon and it’s surrounding areas.

Lastly, I already admitted to being wrong and copped to it about a few hundred posts back =P

he already lost. he just resorted to an ad hominem instead of trying to refute your last post

Sorry even as a Dwarf i leveled through duskwood in vanilla cuz the zone was so good. I was offended and I am sorry. XD

haha to each their own! I did hear good things about it, I just never bothered with alliance until Blizzard railroaded Sylvie into being a villain.

I made the mistake of playing Alliance in Wrath. Can you tell?

I didn’t play horde til wrath so I understand. Its all good.

Isn’t it petty to say “I deserve High Elven options, even though I’m a Blood Elf, not a High Elf, but you don’t deserve High Elven options because you are a Void Elf, not a High Elf”? Or was my original statement misunderstood?

You seem to be completely missing the point. It’s not Blood Elf customizations. It’s High Elf customizations. But you also seem to be completely confused on that point too, so it’s understandable.

In no way have I said anything about Paladins in this thread. You’re arguing against an argument that has not been made. You’re literally making a strawman argument.

Uh… I checked the exchange and I was here while it was happening and… this is not what happened.

But, considering the previous take…

That’s it, I don’t know what else to say… for a change.

Void elves (and worgen, to an extent) are the only races you’re not allowed to ask for anything on or you’re just wanting it from belfs, even if it’s something common like…

This time it’s a class with a unique arch-type that actually existed before void elves existed. Mm’yup.
