Void Elves: We too have Blue eyes

Of course there would be whining from the Horde.
Just as there is from the Alliance about something being unfair.

No one will be 100% satisfied.

Never ending cycle.

Do we really need more of these threads tho? These really are part of continuing the subject… if you really want it to die out as you claim… quit talking about it.

Personally I think Void Elves are the least interesting race in the game, even compared to Highmountain Tauren and Mechagnomes.

The only thing that happened to them of note is that they were greedy magic nerds and a void thing tried to eat them. That’s it. Done. That’s their story.

Beyond that one, very momentary, event they’re Blood Elves through-and-through. High Elves have more that differentiates them than Void Elves do. They had entire moral differences, historic fallouts, and tribulations with the Horde on their own.

I don’t see what there is to find interesting. There’s almost no source material at all except their Thalassian history as Blood Elves. Which isn’t even different from Blood Elves, even recently.

Well that’s your own personal taste.

I find Void Elves dull and very onenote. They are just Blood Elves who are all about the Void.

They didn’t even do much of anything in the Old god/Void Themed patch.

People play them, but that’s because they’re pretty and in some case look better then Blood Elves.

High Elves offer something not currently available to either Blood Elves or Void Elves aside from them all currently looking similar. So the request will continue until that is fulfilled.

Ah look, another anti-high elf thread. Has anyone been counting these? For people who don’t want high elves you guys are making an awful lot of threads to talk about them.

We all have our opinions. This is all subjective taste. If you dislike Void elves more power to you.

I however looooove my Void elf.

No. Because, you are still blood elves and not High Elves, no matter how Blizzard paints you.

They are still just blood elves. A ridiculous placebo made to mock a pretense of some alliance players,
when there were better options but then the insult would not have the same effect.

Lol I am German with the fair skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair in real life. I am all for diversity but geez what the heck is wrong with this being included as well?

What do they offer other than a crap antagonist story to blood elves that is all about the “Alliance High Elves” being racist. Being literal turncoats with a leader that was thinking about joining Sylvanas but decided not to ONLY because she didn’t want her children to have to live in the Undercity. They are just the elves that appear once and awhile to be the antagonist for the Blood Elves nothing more. Add onto this they are CRAP race that is a carbon copy of Belves except for their crappy story.

I imagine the Void Elves sad in a corner while the High Elf fans ask for High Elves.

Hugs my Void Elves May you know that I think you’re far cooler than both, High Elves and Blood Elves.

You’re right the high elves we see in game are just blood elves. Even though the game and lore shows otherwise and also because a game director wants to be spiteful to fans because they want them.

On the contrary, it’s fans being spiteful to a director despite his clear message.

Using that logic every single Wow leader and director has been spiteful. But you fellas already believe that don’t you?

I want to love my Void Elf, honestly I do. I just don’t really “feel” them. Like… there’s not much to base anything on.

Realistically, though, my biggest issue is the slightly-shiny slightly-plastic void-wrapper effect when their racial goes off. I turn a terrible purple (my least favorite shade of my least favorite color) that’s just slightly reflective enough to constantly catch my eye.

Great if you like it, but if you don’t like it it’s an eye sore.

Glad you like yours though! I’m certainly not going to say that you’re not allowed to do so. I just don’t. That’s OK too.

WC2

  • Elven Archers
  • Elven Rangers
  • Alleria
  • Elven Ballista
  • Elven Lumber Mill

WC3

  • Blood Mage
  • Priest
  • Sorcerres
  • Spellbreaker
  • Dragonhawk Rider

WC3 also had a ton of high elf buildings and story unis that I can’t be bothered listing like the hero ranger, high elf footman, engeniers, archers, villagers etc…

Point is, they were a big part of the alliance and one of its founding races. thats why people are so passionate about getting them.

I’d say I’m pretty happy right now (race wise), but I sure wouldn’t mind having stampede back and the ability to tame skeletal hounds/dogs.

The lordaeron alliance. That is no more.

Those guys are forsaken now.

So lorewise, blood elves are allied with their allies.

All is right in the world (of warcraft).

You seem like you’re trying to push for an argument, I’m guessing its a troll tactic, and to be honest, I really don’t care. Night elves are best elves and the only elves I need.

But blood elves joining the Horde was really bad writing, like super bad makes no sense laughable bad. So I can see why people are still calling for High elves on the alliance, it would make perfect sense and theres really no reason not to do it, given that High elves are STILL part of the alliance and have been since vanilla and showed up in every single expansion to remind people of that. And if Blizzard insists on constantly reminding people of it then obviously people are going to keep asking for them.

Nope, just laying out reasons for high elves to go away.

Outside of the basic reason of they look too much like blood elves and we’ve been through all this since tbc over a decade ago, and main developer says no.

So…

:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: love you guys tho.

I mean he says no but then they continue to put Highelves in the game as a part of the alliance, every single expansion.

It’s kind of like they are activly trolling the Alliance/High elf fans, so honestly, what do they expect?

If they want to drop the High elves then stop constantly using them as a key part of the alliance. It’s pretty simple.
