no beer until you do.
So thatâs the only reason why you think they fit? Because the HEs would âneedâ the Alliance? Despite Anasterian saying that his people could clearly give more than the humans could give in return?
Sure.
If you donât think about the box of stereotypical fantasy sure, they could have. Fortunely, they didnât.
You can keep saying they are âan Alliance raceâ, but they havenât been for way over a decade, in fact, theyâve been Horde for longer that theyâve been Alliance at this point.
And whether you like it or not, they have already cemented their place within the Horde and became an iconic part of it. But donât let that get in the way of your in the box thinking.
I never said that WoW was the first one to stray from the tropes. I said that you want it to follow said tropes as you clearly want the pretty elves in the same side as the humans, dwarves and hobbit⌠I mean, gnomes.
Void elves have the right to be their own independent thing.
So for starters, you donât disagree that youâre cherry-picking? Just so weâre clear.
It actually does. Alleria gives a precedent for blonde Void Elves, at the very least. And why should it matter that one race has multiple themes? Magâhar orcs are effectively 4 entirely different cultures smashed into 1. Mechanically theyâre still Void Elves. They still have Entropic Embrace, Spacial Rift, and all their passives.
Now I could see it working, if it were Arcandor customizations and what not to accompany larger more Arcane Highborne centric customizationsâŚthe Nightborne donât seem to have completely detached themselves from nature and plant tending as the city has a large garden in the Nighthold and widespread parks.
I could sort of see this honestlyâŚgardening seems to be a VERY common past time in Suramar, so much so that an entire boss fight revolves around harnessing natural magics to sustain plants. They could have Arcandor branches snaking through beards, Arcane tattoos and scars, etcâŚ
I honestly agree, but have I commonly do not believe White Hair have anything to do with High and Blood Elves since itâs a common hair color tied to Death Knights.
I care little for customizations but I am commonly annoyed of Blood Elves infringing and being entitled to features that were reserved for Death Knights.
For starters youâre asking me to cherry pick to benefit some idea an eye color is enough of a visual factor? If that were true VEs could have been given just blue eyes and no skin tones would the HE community be content then I wonder?
Does Turalyon look like the LF draenei he leads?
Did Sylvanas look like the Forsaken she lead?
Does Velen have the exact same model as other male draenei?
Can you look the exact same way as Malfurion?
Can gnomes be as tall as Mekkatorque is in canon?
If the answer to these itâs no, then Alleriaâs âblondnessâ means nothing to the Void Elves.
coughs
But the answer is no Midare
Both of you please stop. Both sides cherry pick, there is nothing good about arguing this, because both parties is guilty of this.
Iâm sorry, but asking you to give more photos than just 2 that were intentionally made to look as similar as possible is asking you to cherry-pick? Are you kidding me?
These are people who just pointed at the fact that the lead void elf is blonde haired to support their argument that void elves canât have blonde hair
Trying to ignore that what youâre asking for gives them the option to look identical to BEs is the problem. So I guess youâre kidding me?
I mean⌠the playable ve and alleria didnât get theyâre powers by the same means, so the antiâs does have a point of alleria being a bad example for this arguement.
To be fair while I disagree any additional Thalassian model should be implemented, as well as additional copy options done to make identical BEs for VEs essentially. At least your Half Elf idea gives some thought to BE fans visual uniqueness.
If those are the low standards weâre using to dismiss in-game examples than any in-game example can be dismissed the same way
so since calia exist we should have holy undead then?
Iâm a strong advocate for Alliance-aligned Lightforged undead, yes.
Alleria devoured a Dark Naaru, literally one of the most powerful beings of Void that can exist in the Great Dark. The first generation of Void Elves, aka the ones that were with Umbric during the banishment, may have undergone a different transformation (iirc being forced to become half-Void ethereals?), but there are High and Blood Elves alike seen training as a new generation in Telogrus, and Iâm fairly certain the implication is that they would undergo a process more akin to Alleria, on a smaller scale.
calia is strongly being hinted at becoming a member of the horde, so to correct you that would be a no.
I see youâre not only for imitating lotr, you just want to play Horde without the red and black.
