Thank you, I have no frustration with them, but I definitely won’t waste anymore energy on them for sure - which is why I stated my belief in my last post and left it at that.
I don’t think some people can argue in good faith, but I think that misses the point in the first place.
In that, people are simply asking for what customizations they want added to their favored races. And I believe the only entity that can say ‘No you can’t’ is Blizzard themselves, regardless of how others may feel about that person’s opinion.
I’ve noticed because in the last couple of days I have seen my name as well as quite a few others pop up in more places than I care to admit and it’s never from people that aren’t trying to be shady about it.
I’m sure that will last, at least until someone decides to disagree with them on something again then boom right back to square one.
Actually partially wrong and correct, in a dev statement, it is the combination of the sunwell and a priests/paladins devotion to the light that causes it. Naturally in lore no other BE would have the golden eyes. They just allow any class to use it for gameplay and fun.
Maybe alternate universe Sledgehammer who thought all elves should have their model replaced with the MOP puntable marmot was right after all, because this has devolved into a lot of passive aggressive (and just aggressive) nonsense today.
Let’s be honest here. Both sides can be very whiney at times, though I do have good relationships with individuals in this thread. The High Elf debate gets too personal. We’ve seen an array of insults slung into the thread and it’s dishonest to pin it on a single side.
This is true, but hard to do sometimes, most people read things on the internet as if it’s a negative response at most cases. I think it is a culture issue.
They aren´t either ONLY these two tropes, dude. They too fulfill the “regular magic inclined elf” and the “regular wood elf” tropes too.

And a drop too in the ocean of actual active players (a lot of them similar to most of my friends, who basically told me " we believe the game is to play it and not to use it as a crappy “dress Barbie” simulator; customizations are irrelevant and mostly useless. Do you know which kind of players DO find the customizations and transmog feature TRULY important? The RPers… who btw, are the actual measurable minority in this game (how do I know they are the minority? simple, the amount of RP realms in comparison to ALL the other regular realms is truly small. Ergo, a small portion of the actual playerbase DOES use the RP feature -and that making the assumption ALL the players in the RP realms DO RP and aren´t there simply because they followed other friends-).
Also, do watch those double standards, cause coming here to tell us suggestions surrounding the Void theme are “a show of bad faith” while praising the Helfers that come to tell us “Belves only deserve Holy Light and Fel” based customizations (who cares if they don´t make sense in combination, amrite?). Peak “maturity and moral highground” there dude, next time AT LEAST condemn both sides of the argument so you don´t end up looking like a biased jerk.

Non ironically, I have never gotten terribad “nou” to my Belf suggestions (heck, I think i only got some arguments against them from some members of the Forsaken fanbase and we were very cordial during our short discussion; I have no issue with looking at ways to make stuff work for both races); but then again, I´m just as self aware as to understand that I´m NOT the adequate person to propose Velf customization stuff when I´m NOT a fan of the race, period.
But don´t ask me to stay quiet when people comes here to accuse others of “denying their RP experience rights!!” and in the next post they make a 180º saying the antis only will get X and Y features cause that´s only what they deserve!! No, it was about much more than that originally. Model, skin color, eye color, etc. All of which have already been availed - Do you not realize how entitled you sound to be able to say “all this over hair” when you’ve already been given everything else? Does all of it cease to matter since it’s already been given to you, and everything else should just a given.

Did you not get the model? Did you not get the skin tones? Did you not get uncorrupted eyes? I’d say at this point you’ve gotten quite a bit beyond what was assured to the players who play the parent race.
