I know that not all Void Elves are Priests. What I’m saying is that all Void Elves have been impacted by the Void so why not give them all an ability like “Shadow form” even if they are not priests?
As for what they are suppose to be, Alleria is not pale blue or purple, she looks the same as she did before she encountered the void. So if she doesn’t look different, under normal circumstances, why should the other Void Elves?
I’ll tell you the same thing lots of other people have said this game doesn’t revolve around Void Elves and thank god for that because seriously they have gotten more than enough customization already, races like Kul Tiran, Vulpera, Dark Iron Dwarves, etc. need more attention customization before Void Elves ever get it again so if you want the Shadowform toggle on a Void Elf play a Void Elf Priest.
I already explained to you yesterday that I feel Blizzard leaving Alleria normal looking was the wrong way to go about it, you don’t say that you can be supposedly normal looking and everyone else in the race looks different while saying this is your leader it’s why Umbric makes a much more effective leader than her, everyone knows that.
In the end, no matter what you or anyone else tries to throw at me, I won’t agree that Void Elves should be exactly like Blood Elves and I also won’t agree that they should share anything more than they have because I feel they have shared more than enough to the point it has shafted actual Blood Elf and Void Elf fans.
I never said the game should revolve around Void Elves. All WOW races have race features. Hunters can turn invisible, warlocks can teleport short distances, etc. I’m just suggesting that shadow form would be a good trait for void elves.
As for Alleria, they have already established with shadow priests that “shadow form” is something that changes your appearance when it’s turned on and off. It is perfectly consistent and makes sense that under normal circumstances Alleria would look the way she does.
And I’m not throwing anything at you. I’m just pointing things out and making suggestions.
Take this to Blizzard then and see if they take a core feature from a class to give it to a race that has already taken more than enough from everyone else, literally.
She’s not a Priest, I know you keep trying to use that as a basis for stuff but legit she’s not and it’s why she doesn’t get taken seriously as a leader of the race she’s supposed to be a leader of, it’s always why she’s overshadowed by Umbric which is wonderful because he’s a better leader anyway.
What have void elves taken from anyone. Which brings up the question, if you don’t play void elves why do you care? If you don’t like them, just don’t play them.
And yes I know, I’m suggesting that a specialization talent be used for a race talent. Or it could be changed a little. It’s just a suggestion. But again, this would only impact people playing void elves, so if you have no plan to play void elves, how is this any of your concern?
I do like them, I like them as what they are supposed to be not what people like you and everyone seems to be trying to make them into which is wannabe Blood Elves.
As for this, it’s my concern because I do play them and I’m tired of all of you people trying to shaft people like me even more than you already have when we haven’t even gotten our void based customizations, get it yet or are you going to pretend like you and people like you are the only ones that count?
have you seen your toon, is basically a blood elf…
before uncorrupted customizations, void elves were hardly 2% of the alliance population, after that they are the 3rd more played race in the alliance with 10%. 7 of every 10 void elf in the alliance look uncorrupted. that’s a succes for the race.
My toon “Tiffany” is a blood elf. She’s been my main since around the time Legion came out or perhaps BFA. I’m switching to Void Elves for DF. I’ve been leveling my new main and alts over the past couple months.
Easy, I’m one of the people that has helped advocate for having actual void customizations including permanent glowing skintones and hair colors like pink as well as N’Zoth eyes, black eyes, etc. and none of that has been added because people like you wanted to be copy/pastes of Blood Elves.
My toon isn’t a Blood Elf it’s the only skintone that I actually like but if they ever add a permanent glowy skintone or skintones do you actually think I’ll keep that skintone on my Void Elf because I have asked and asked and asked for void customizations for Void Elves because it’s what they should of gotten from the get go and that’s why even though I think Void Elves have gotten more than enough customization time as it is, I still support them getting them because people like me deserve to get what we want instead of the bargain bin Blood Elf copy/pastes you all wanted.
Can you prove this? It seems that one customization would not preclude any others. Do you have proof that there was a limit on choices and that one side “won” over the other?
As far as I’m concerned, I would have no problem if you got your preference.
It’s common sense, they were going to either add void customizations or normal customizations, they added the normal ones instead which is part reason people complain all they have gotten copy/pastes instead of new stuff but it’s what they asked for instead of wanting unique stuff to further Void Elves as a race.
I don’t know why you’d say can I prove it when anyone knows they aren’t going to go through and give Void Elves a whole void pass right after giving them normal pass, as I said people wanted bargain bin Blood Elf customizations and that’s exactly what they have now which is gross.
Well you still have your void pale blue and purple which is what we usually see from the void. Just curious, where do you see the basis in lore for the other colors you wanted? Again, if they did them I would have no problem.
People who are unhappy with their actual life tend to be more aggressive on the internet in general. They are also the people who lose easily control in a discussion and start to lie or use ad hominems, while also calling themself constantly the victim.
Given up or sharing their identity as a Blood Elf means losing themselves. Although, the never owned these looks or figures, so it’s rather pointless to get attached to these leased figures, unless you run your own private server.
Well for one the racial legit glows and for two the so called racial leader can have permanent glowing skin, why shouldn’t I? As for say the pink hair color I just picked it because it’s a popular color and everyone else seemed to support it being added as a fun color, N’Zoth eyes, black eyes, etc. support themselves.
I don’t think this part of the sentence is exactly true to be précised. I mean, I am not saying the people who intend to be aggressive on the internet are happy with their actual life, but since we all don’t really know what their lives are like outside of the internet, it is kinda hard to really make this sort of assumption.
