Now while there is nothing stopping you from making a character that doesn’t match story, I feel that void elve warlocks fit the role best. Think about it, void elves use the void to their advantage, but not falling into madness, and warlocks do the same with the void and fel magics. What do you think?

I agree! Although I feel like monk is an excellent fit too. Think about it, a void elf seeking the path of zen and meditation to deal with the internal voices - something we already know is somewhat effective against the sha, so it might help them with the void whispers too. Plus purple goes really well with aqua green =D

I find the spell pushback negation useful as a tank in those moments where I need to use heals on myself while being hit.

I think it sucks that it wasn’t available in the early days, and hence mine can’t ‘legitimately’ earn her green fire title/MoP challenge skin, simply because her race wasn’t ‘born’ at the time.
So the choices left is either keep 2 warlocks, hence 2x the work; or race-change one to Void elf, which of course means forking out more money for the service.
Fel and void shouldn’t mix.
Actually, I read in another thread just a little while ago that you can still do the green fire quest for the reward–you just can’t get the title and achieve anymore.

Gotta admit, that being a VE lock is pretty rocking.
My apologies, i should have been more specific.
I am fully aware that green fire is still attainable. I was referring to the title and achieve.
Race change to a void elf from my the-real-human, while is a completely valid option, seems more like a cash grab situation to me.
