Void Elf Paladin make a lot of sense

Just another in game reference to how VEs have changed in case anyone missed their entire introduction as an Allied Race which AR intro quests are like the heritage quests for core races, where Blood Elves heritage quest reinforces their status as being the playable High Elf race even playing as a High Elf for parts of the quest defending Quel’thalas, VEs intro quest quite literally has you altered to the point you hear voices.

VE NPCs talk about hearing voices, controlling the voices / void

And then there’s this object Blizzard added meant to show players their kid form

For Forsaken it turns them into a ghost.

For Void Elves

And no they aren’t the same as Blood Elves still being High Elves.

You mean like how the highborne were once nighelves that left Kalimdor, settled in the Eastern Kingdoms and founded Quel’Thalas and became high elves?

Didn’t they also change their skin color/eye color? Do you still call them Night Elves? No, you don’t.

They came from the same thing, and share that history/culture. But they did have a physical change to their beings. Like if they didn’t have the blood change I’d believe a little more that they’re still the same species.

That all said they’re definitely still a Thalassian group. They’re an offshoot more than a different… race I guess. But physically and biologically they are not 1:1.

Entirely different isn’t quite right. They’re just not the same anymore. Their past is still their past, their history their history. But their physical change is obvious and entire. They’re not high elves anymore.

Phenotypical changes don’t constitute a racial difference. Take a biology class.

There’s never consistency when Brae is involved.

Or logic even frankly.

You’re comparing deflation of magic over hundreds of years/a boat ride, to an infusion of magic in one event.

Yes High Elves became a different race from Night Elves over time due to their circumstance, Void Elves did not become an entirely different race the second they were hit with Void infusion, their isn’t even a comparable level of physical changes from Night elf to High elf and Blood elf to Void elf.

I mean why not? I seen undead skeletons hammer of justice me and used paladin skills.

It’s called Forced Evolution.

Aside from the fact that evolution is not remotely what that’s considered to be yeah?

We call that a mutation, do you consider people mutated by radiation sickness a different race?

“forced evolution.” That isn’t evolution. That is gene expression.

You genes can turn “on” or “off” any number of genetic information based on its environment. This is actually why its not evolution. They were exposed to a certain circumstance and gained traits. If someone was exposed to the sun and had less melanin, they are more prone to cancer, if they acquired the disease known as cancer, it wouldn’t be considered “evolution.” I’m not sure what you’re on about.

Go watch the void elf ritual scene. Judging by your arguments, you haven’t watched it.

It’s sad that you’ve stated you have and have such a pathetic misunderstanding of how it works.

This seems more of a science issue on your end than a lore one. :heartpulse:

Except before the customization ret con they where changed enough to warrant them.

Then so should druids lol. and death knights, and any classes of that like.

Correct.

Magic in the world of warcraft can change your race.

Broken dreanei is a big example of being completely changed, Another is Humans themselves when they came from vrykul due to the curse of flesh.

And it’s sad that you always have to devolve a conversation into petty insults. Every time I see you involved. Which is why I’m quite done talking with you.

At least Gaijinn can have an argument like an adult.

Good Point! Best Ally race in the Alliance.

But can a wood chuck wood if a wood chuck could chuck wood? We may never know…

:speak_no_evil:

I suggest using the ignore feature for people you do not like discussing with.

It takes allot of stress off talking in these discussions.

Tends to happen when the delusional are wrapped in their own lore reality.

You haven’t responded to his or my points, rather falling back on your “trust me bro”.

You can have your adult conversation when you converse like an adult. :+1:

Which alt is this of? Fyre? Moon moon? Lann isn’t skulking around because you aren’t associated, tends to always be that group, very on brand.

Oh it’s already done! I love to argue but I don’t need that type of negativity. You can argue plenty without insulting the other party/using patronizing remarks.

Grand, i can trump your delusion without talk back? :heartpulse:

While you’re at it get the others in the anti discord to do so as well, saves me a lot of time, can go make coffee. :teapot:

I’ll be here when you wanna explain why you don’t consider people with mutations humans anymore.

At any case, on topic. I still think a void knight baised class should be made separately then giving paladins a void look.

The void is more into torture and corrupting then healing and empowering. While they both can fulfill each others roles, one is more stronger and able to do the roles one rather then the other and vice versa.

I don’t see it as racially definitive. But arguably I don’t think “Light forged” draenei are any different from regular draenei.
