Man, you can just easily type down:
“I don’t like Void Elves, I wish that they don’t get anything new anymore and get deleted”
Would be easier for you.
Never said this. Just replied to you when you’ve asked me about specific part of the photo even though it’s not connected to my first reply because I was trying to be nice.
I feel like you’re seeing and are 100% aware that I’m not a “hardcore HE fan” as people like you like to call them, but you’re trying to push it on me regardless and trying to make a negative discussion out of something I haven’t wrote about.
I will repeat again, my opinion, others’ opinion, your opinion don’t matter. The Paladins are coming to Void Elves one day whether we like it or not. Because Blizzard wants to do it.
Anyways, I’m done with taking the bait so I wish you a very great day. I suppose it’s still day at you, maybe not, doesn’t matter. It’s past 1 AM at me so good night!
Well I did you the courtesy of not making assumptions of you.
I asked point blank where I lacked knowledge of your stance on, and went off the answers you gave.
I’m sorry you couldn’t engage the same. I feel it’s always best when arguing or discussing in good faith to not make assumptions of others stance but to inquire and go off those inquiries. You obviously feel otherwise and that’s fine that’s is how you’re entitled to argue or converse and I wish you the absolute best, I just don’t wish for VE light themed Paladins under the idea that somehow is a class skin as well.
The only difference between Blood Elves and High Elves is what they call themselves. They are the same race with different allegiances. It would be like an orc joining the alliance and then saying he isnt an orc anymore.
Sure Void Elf Paladins make a lot of sense. Just like using Flex-Seal in lieu of replacing a badly damaged roof, putting a screen door on a space-ship, cutting your legs off so they can’t fall asleep, snacking on sunlight instead of eating, and responding to subjects that the lore was already pretty clear about.
I didn’t feel like reading everything so idk if it’s been said already.
Why haven’t we made normal trolls have the ability to become paladins? If them elitist zandalari can pray to a loa so hard they can be paladins why not normal trolls? I mean why not honestly? Just imagine that raptor pally mount…so beautiful…and they really don’t even have to add that much lore just piggy back off the zandalari basically.
Edit: also nightelf paladins before Void/High elves
Yes please to the Holy LF Draenei Shadow priests, or even for all priests if you wanted to have a combat holy priest. Class skins would add so much more flavor and customization for classes/races. Warlocks have the green felfire glyph, would be nice to add more of those to other classes. Dark ranger hunter glyph when?
Hey I’m just goin off what Ion said, these days the lines between sub races is kinda blurred with one or two elements separating them.
That said, my issue was more the denial that alliance high elves existed, which turned into a downward spiral of debate and honestly I don’t want to revisit that . . . suffice to say thalassians currently exist in three groups separated by both political affiliation and some magical stuff (fel and light vs void . . . All three got an arcane infusion)
Edit: and more on topic, if blizzard stands by what they said both blood and void will have all the classes like everyone else, paladins included. My hope is they at least present a good reason for all of it and not just an posterior pull or some “we’ve been here all along” nonsense.
Elves live for a super long time and in elf time it wasnt very long ago Alleria, Vereesa and Sylvanas were in Quel’thalas together. The elves that deemed themselves Blood elves are literally the same elves that were high elves.
I think he said Blood Elves are High Elves, not that High Elves didnt exist.
I said denying ALLIANCE high elves existed . . . seemed convinced every high elf was either affiliated with Silvermoon or the kirin tor but I said I didn’t want to get into that again.
Edit: I don’t like talking about others behind their backs, so let’s drop this before the debate starts anew and such.
Blizzard has been going off track a lot lately with the lore. All the retcons becoming to make less sense, and some things just doesn’t even make sense to begin with.
I’m just over arguing over anything to be honest, because what could be said today may be retconned tomorrow.
Sorry pal, but I think you must be leaving in a past era. Void elves have been out since Legion, get over it. The ones foaming at the mouth are antis such as your good self, precisely because we no longer need to ‘‘just play a blood elf’’. Paladins will soon be here as well for us, and since the idea of Void elf Dark Paladins is so garbage to you as you so eloquently put it, then rest assured that I have no problem whatsoever seeing ordinary Paladins being added for the Void elves. Blood elves are no different from Void elves in terms of their morale, since the only way Blood elves accessed the Light was through enslaving a Naaru. And while it may not be directly explained in the lore, there is an implication that some High elves are joining the Void elf ranks but don’t get corrupted by the Void, which could explain regular Void elf Paladins. So you can willingly be a member of the Void elf army ranks but not delve into the research of the Void.
Exactly. This stuff can turn boomerang. Blood elves can be DHs and Paladins, two special classes that many other races cannot be. Does that mean we should all just go and play Blood elves? Like, it’s not hard to understand that some people put faction identity above race aesthetics. Some people love the Alliance, some people love the Horde. It’s not fair towards any of these groups to try and force them to play on a specific faction just to access a particular class / race combo.
It really doesn’t, I start seeing the classes as more fighting styles if anything. I mean sure there’s a lot of lore to go on but at the same time it wouldn’t shock me if different races had different ideas on what a Warrior is, why should the same be for Paladins?
Only if they renounce their heathen god Elune and worship the true divinity that is the Light. Delas Moonfang did the right thing, now she can bring the truth of the Light to her people.
EDIT: Too far? I don’t know this feels a bit too far.
But why would they need to do that?
Trolls worship the loa
Dwarves worship ale
Tauren worship the like spirits or something
Belves worship blood or something
DI dwarves worship like fire and ale
Humans worship the light
Nelves don’t have to stop worshipping elune to become paladins
If you want a lore reason just say they are like moon knights or something
Edit: I see you were making a joke now but my point stands still lol
