Thereās really not just one color that is considered black, and in order for there to be shading and highlights in anything, there needs to be other colors.
By the definition some of you are using there is no black hair because it all has some sort of shading and highlights, and contain other colors.
If you donāt care for the shade, ask for darker ones by all means, but insisting itās not black just because thereās variations to show details is just odd.
Again, does purple cease to be purple if a bit of another color is mixed in it, or used along side it to create depth? Of course not.

Actually you should probably stop, you canāt even accept that blue black is a shade of black, like for real go see a beautician once in awhile you might learn a few things.

Quick question - is anybody here color blind?
I am myself color blind, and tend to easily confuse dark blues with purples, bright greens with yellows and certain reds with browns/greens.
The first time I played Void Elves I didnāt have my EnCroma glasses, and I did think that was black hair (until I was told in Discord by basically everyone that that color was teal). After purchasing said glasses, it was so evident to me that wasnāt black, so Iām wondering maybe some people here are color blind as well?
On another note, I donāt really get the made-up concept of āVoid Blackā. I feel that if we need to add an adjective to a color, then itās not the color in question, like saying Blood Elves have āLight redā eyes because there is some redness in those golden options.

What? I can accept that there are different shades for all colors, but thatās clearly not whatās being discussed. Responding to someone requesting black by saying ālol u already have black due to x and y shade of purple greeen void black lulā is not a response.

So the theory that the denial of the blue black / void black option on VEs is tied to the idea you have to ask for a natural toned jet black color from the stand point of ānot currently having a black optionā was correct.
This didnāt uphold the argument in good faith

I mean there is a difference, and VEs have an obvious black color option that fits their Void thematic.
Itās just not the natural toned jet black option perhaps seen on Blood Elves or some VE NPCs (itās the same jet black I think?)
It always saddens me when people canāt argue in good faith.

I am not colorblind, and have in fact been tested again recently. (Routine Eye exam but new doctor so they put me through all the tests.)
My husband is colorblind though and they also agree that the dark teal is a shade of black or a shade of teal depending on how youāre looking at it.
It is a black. Its maybe not the black everyone wantsā¦ but its one of them.
Actually I would in fact say one of the golden eyes has a reddish hue to it. Iāve also specifically thought about making a character with those eyes for the reddish tint to them. Makes them look fierce.
I abandoned that for a half blood elf half magāhar orc in the end thoughā¦

Laughable given your previous comment in which this was a reply to you commented Lann about to stop about the Void Black/Blue Black, how exactly are you accepting of differences in color or shades if you canāt even accept that Void Elves already have a shade of black thatās blue black? Also where to you get off calling someone else dumb when you are the one thatās acting like it, post after post to the point you look ridiculous now.
Furthermore, my beautician comment was because you act as if you donāt know anything about hair colors and so I figured maybe if you went to one they could show you that blue black is a shade of black and itās a very popular shade of black at that to the point that itās made by multiple different companies and marketed in a box you can buy and color your hair at home with.
