Void Elf-High Elf Customization Thread

Being honest I’d imagine given differences between blood elf and void elf hair that if we get any new colors they will be our own.

I’m fairly ambivalent about hairstyles but overall wish we had more sharing of such across the board.

Or at least just more variety.

So much this.

For bald too damnit!

I’d like that.

More void options are always good.

I, as a person more interested in void elves than high elves, very much agree that the dark teal can very much be used for a black.

I still want the npc black…

But I’m not going to pretend that I’m not actively trying to use that black as black.

Do you want blood elves to be able to?

I’d think that the lore issues alone would want one to go with a different theme to add onto blood elves as compensation more so…

Genuinely curious here.

The amount of players in game I see daily using that exact color for black hair don’t count?

It’s not that outlandish. I’m literally doing it myself.

They’re the same race though…

Its like Pandaren. Same race, same customization features, one is Alli because of some story reason, and one is Horde because of some story reason.

Virtually same thing you got here.

Void elves are severely lacking in the hair department compared to the Horde version.

No it’s literally not  Pandaren are working as intended, Blood Elves a core Horde race are not neutral nor intended to be.

Have you tried asking for more Void colors that don’t continue intruding on the Blood Elf visual theme? It might be a good way to get more universal support for options you feel they lack though I would point out you have two visual themes and that’s hardly fair and I doubt Blizzard will continue to allow the AR to replicate the core race defeating the purpose of their own AR.

well thats a good idea, but not quite what I mean

void elves were once blood elves (high elves), so suddenly because they’re on the other faction they lose all the original traditional highelf hairstyles that bloodelves have access to?

“First was High, then BLOOD, and now Void. Get the order right.”

If some void elves are just normal blood elves who joined their squad, I believe it would be fine if VEs have green(or gold) eye colors, rather have them than the much wanted blonde hairs. After all, it’s easier to dye hair than altering the appearance of the eyes

By virtue of the Void our eyes are now blue (again) or purple apparently.

Thalassian eyes are tied to the magics that they are tied to.

So basically make them even more the same race. No.

Mag was just pointing out it’s unfair that velves get two distinct visual themes, one of which is pretty much blood elf, while blood elves only get one.

I will say, the void elf blue skins and some of the void eyes (like the purple ones) are great for a Dark Ranger look, so I certainly wouldn’t be upset if they were given to blood elves.

Not sure what this means, you can say it’s black despite the fact that it’s not? I’m glad it makes you feel like you have black hair even though it’s not?
The only thing that’s outlandish is the people pretending to not know what the color black is by trying to argue the 100 differents shades of black, despite knowing what black is lmao.

Your character is also bald with barely visible facial hair, not exactly promoting your case with that example. I could go bald too and say that I have black hair.

It’s clearly a Void black.

It’s mistaken as black by those who have no stake in this debate when they’ve stopped in the threads and commented as such.

It’s seen as an answer to black by those like me who see it as a Void black. And has been pointed out to be a blue black type shade which makes sense because it’s a Void type of black.

Magnificents pictures more than showcase the points being made.

There is a reason the example picture from Grabbags post makes sense, it’s a shame you’ve chosen to ignore it.

I’ve always referred to the darkest color that Blood Elves have had as ‘black’. Yet according to others it’s not. But it sure seemed black to me.

I would still call it black tbh but just note that it’s not the newer jet black one? Idk if that makes sense but that’s how I saw it / still do too :hugs:

I don’t know if ‘most’ is accurate. Maybe it seems like it is when we just take a look at who is posting in these topics. But if we took a poll? Possibly?
I haven’t been vocal much but I don’t approve of Void Elves getting white and black.

Right, it’s just that black hair color has been depicted in many places with a bluish tinge to it. I always referred to it as black.

That would be fair game if they give NB a fix and more options too

A lighter shade of blue doesn’t stop being a shade of blue just because it’s lighter. Similarly, there are shades of black.

Are we still discussing this? How is there a discussion? How is there an argument? Black has shades and that’s just an objective fact.

Just a reminder:

Ah I see.

Black like any coloration (or non coloration in this case) has shades… thats just life.

Its weird to me that you’re not accepting that some people do see the dark teal as black when it clearly is a shade of black that people currently use as black.

It just sounds like you’re arguing with them because they’re not on your side.

Weird take.

Hair is hair. The color is applied to the facial hair all the same.

If I go with say, Nico’s hair style, it would also still appear black.
