Void Elf-High Elf Customization Thread

Great then you don’t need them and VEs are fine with the continued void visual distinction factor in hair color and texture

I really wish people would stop saying this because Alliance actually doesn’t, Horde Blood Elves can actually look like High Elves because we are the High Elves, Alliance can’t because they are void tainted Blood Elves AKA Void Elves with tentacles and bad hair.

I will do both.

Like I have been for the last few years.

Blood elves do not call themselves high elves.

No NPC with the label of “high elf” is …

Nah.

void elves dont call themselves ‘high elves’ either

more self defeating logic

I’d really like to see a network of rifts. Maybe some decorations up, some fancy elf carpets, something to show where void elves actually live. And how they live.

They have to phrase it like that so they can act like it’s the same playing field when in all actuality Blood Elves are High Elves, and they desperately want to ignore the implications Void Elves have as Void Elves

She also has green eyes, not a good example when she’s obviously all over the place NPC wise.

The race yes, they call themselves Blood Elves, not the group High Elves, who actually call themselves High Elf, which is what this discussion has been from the start, lets not start with the bad faith like your peers.

It is an example of Vereesa being Allied with the Alliance, and don’t try to say she was lending them because the horde asked nicely, an Alliance faction lending weaponry to the Alliance isn’t taboo, it’s natural.

Ah yes, was every non-playable Horde allied-group/race present as well?

Guess those Alterac humans and pirates aren’t actually supporting the horde as well and never existed, despite their place in the story.

I don’t need High Elves to be present in army numbers to know they’re Alliance, I know that simply by playing the game Blizzard put in front of me, the ballista and vereesas presence was a treat and a reminder to the anti-conspiracy theorist, guess it didn’t work. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

lol, imaging thinking ARs need to have a massive place in the story to be valid.

Rightfully so, after all, the High Elf group are canonically on the Alliance, and the Sunwell choosing now to give blood elves blue eyes again after already giving them yellow but not blue is retcon if I’ve ever seen it.

Oh well, more customizations for all, blue eyed blood elves for Alliance High Elves is a fair trade, cant wait to see where they take it, the hype on its own earned them hundreds of race changes I’m sure, imagine if they kept going. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

But Blood Elves do call themselves Blood Elves to honor their High Elf kin, oh and there’s no void implications or near change into ethereals… and I feel like our heritage quest makes it very clear the continuation of the HE story is the BE story, so I’m not sure this commentary on “well they go by the name BEs” and they say it as if its the same situation for VEs lol

I agree with your take on that persons logic too

Darkspear don’t call themselves Sandfury.
Bronzebeard don’t call themselves Wildhammer.

so 2 elves serve on an airship in the 7th legion? what does this change? a few individuals do exist in the alliance no ones ever denied that. you also have 2 goblins :woman_shrugging:

And an entire army and 2 major lore characters.

But yes, your few blue eyed blood elves claim ownership to the 15 years of the group of high elf lore.

BTW those shoulders pieces look great on you, its a shame you can’t complete the look with the Silver Covenant Tabard not available to blue eyed blood elves.

Which is good, my point being that in only one case are these customizations actually utilized and made canonical. As of yet, the only canon reason why an elf would have blue eyes on the Horde is if they were, or are a High elf who’s joined.

Many of the people posting here used to argue points like this. Drede for instance used to take the forums berating and attacking people for suggesting gold eyes for blood elves, telling them it was fanfiction and that it would never happen. Then when I suggested Blue eyes they did the same exact thing, and yet both have been added. It’s amazing the amount of evidence they’ll ignore if it doesn’t align with their agenda.

As of now this is the only “canonical” reason until they write something down in stone, but there are literally countless reasons why these customizations are appropriate on Blood elves.

Please go to Dalaran, and tell me how many High elves are “labeled” High elf? Because… there aren’t any. The only visual signifier between a High elf and a Blood elf is their eye color. We’ve seen no evidence, or argument that High elves must become Blood elves, or take on the title in order to return home, or join the Horde. In fact Lor’themar goes out of his way to refer to Quel’thalas as a home for all High elves and Blood elves.

I suspect more than the Five islands would be a bit much. But I can dream.

Certainly more than a few tents! Ugh it drives me insane. I love the Telogrus Rift so much and its just so barely designed and used.

And we do love our carpets and pillows…

Well you want more Alliance High Elfs HUH ok:

There Yah go. :+1:Waits for next excuse.

Nah, the only high elves I can think of off the top of my head who’re labeled as such are in Stormwind or 7th Legion NPCs.

Personally, I don’t much care for the concept of blood elves calling themselves high elves. The name change, and honoring the dead in turn, was kind of a big deal.

I know your headcanon for Softsong and I’m happy you’re enjoying those blue eyes! I know you asked hard for them.

Why are you linking the same failed YouTube channels videos as proof of something? At what point is that spam
