…All I really have to go on is that it looks a lot more painful to be mana drained than a sensible clean kill so the meat’s not filled with stress hormones.
I thought it was the Blood Elves who wanted to Deep Fry.
Many clean kills take way more than the less than 5 seconds that it shows in the BC opener from start to finish of the mana drain. (around the 1:40 mark if you want to look)
I think if anyone gets to claim that it’s us humans.

Honestly, WoW has always been odd about showing essence draining as worse than good ol’ murder. I guess so we keep our moral upstanding hero nature. Except for warlocks and shadow priests, but they always did what they wanted anyway.

Consider this coloration. Turokan in my Void Elf Customization thread suggested it.
To me it still feels unnatural but is very blondish. I like how it has a similar tint to it as you see in the metal of the underwear. Its nice natural-unnatural tone that I think could work well for both Void Elves in general and high elf rp.

I suggested unnatural versions of the blood elf hair colors before, and it was rejected. Even if it was accepted though, I wouldn’t end my support of also giving the normal options. There is no reason they can’t have both, for reasons I’ve listed multiple times.

I’ve never stopped you in either case. Natural hair colors are not what I specifically want to see for Void Elves, doesn’t mean I don’t think you should request them or not.
I just wanted to show one of Turokan’s very nice renditions that helps both Void Elves and High Elves, while perhaps not entirely harming Blood Elves general look and feel (I’ll leave that for the Belf folk to judge).
I also thought it was similar to Zugyr’s suggestion above (at least in coloration). Hence mentioning it after their post.
