Yes putting my mental health at risk to stand up to the many problematic stances within that discord to help make a safe space for HE fans while being attacked because my support for actual HE options ended when a compromise was given is an example of me hardly helping or being supportive.

And something as ludicrous as going after Fezzy for being social with the “other side” is a level of us vs them that should be reserved for actual rephrensible behavior as opposed to disagreeing over the coolest look for pretendy funtime elves.

If you feel that your mental health is at risk, I honestly would say you should seek for counseling or avoid this forum because you honestly are doing nothing but bringing toxicity and negativity passive aggressively lashing it out at us. Don’t say “why are you upset” at me when you are doing nothing but just self vicitimizing.
My honest friendly advice?
You should seriously consider seeking counseling and avoid forum because there will always be disagreements and arguments and insults if there exists. And that’s just outside of my opinion about you about pro vs anti ideals.

I’m about void elves.
Don’t care if you all get what you want and I understand the concerns of antis.
I’d have more pro friends if they hadn’t always been hostile to me since I arrived supporting their cause.
I do greatly value several pro friends I do have, sadly they don’t post here often enough.
Nontheles, Lore and this threads intent doesn’t seem like there was ever an intent beyond trolling to me.

Yup. To me the quote is very clear cut. People can post their interpretations but that’s either some weird attempt to paint some forum narrative (as if that will actually make a difference) or people truly need to brush up on their reading comprehension skills.
Ely is literally stating these points:
- High Elves hadn’t been represented on player characters
- Blood Elves were the closest
- They had an opportunity to add options to Thalassians to tie them back to their “roots” (aka High Elves)
- Let players choose where they want to align (Alliance or Horde, aka VE or BE)
- Let players choose what fantasy to play out (Alliance VE or HE? Horde BE or HE?)
- Discussed a lot, gave some HE options to both, might do more in the future.
There I parsed out his statement. If people still can’t understand it then there’s no hope there tbh because that statement doesn’t leave much for interpretation in the first place.

Make no mistake I’m just fine and being in the discord you brought up while having the audacity to say I never supported your community was what was damaging to honestly anyones mental health.
That you jumped to say it was a forum issue is pretty bold but maybe it showed your hand on what this argument you started is really about you’re arguing with people you don’t want on the forums.
Opposition isn’t going anywhere and people are arguing in good faith, idk what you’re doing

That video does look very interesting. I think for the Blood Elf players, they should also be given another option to play as the San’layn through the Blood Elf race.

Even if that may have been the original intent. This thread looks to have become the de-facto suggestion thread for Void Elf + High Elf options from what I’ve seen. The only other ones are your specific Void Elf options thread and the Blood Elf options thread.
Before the skin tones and blue eyes were shared. There was a similar situation where people would make remarks such as ‘I hope they give Blood Elves Blue Eyes so that’ll kill the Alliance High Elf request, go play Horde if you wanna play a Blue Eyed Elf!’ and someone took to actually putting up a Blue Eyes for Blood Elves thread as a troll attempt.
But after a while, that thread actually became the Blood Elf customization thread before the reveal of customizations for Shadowlands.
So what I mean to say is, whatever the original intent of the OP, this thread is now the customization thread for Void Elf and High Elf options.

The most awesome moments when this conversation of High Elf options were centered around 1. HE as an AR, 2. Blue Eyes, 3. Skin tones, were seeing people who never posted ever on the forums here or elsewhere coming out of the woodwork just to give their support for adding those options.
I remember international fans making forum accounts here from Europe and China to talk about how much support there was for getting some form of High Elves on Alliance side.
Those are the best moments to see from people.
