Are you for real? You click on the link within that post, and you can see it is Steve Danuser own words.
Danuser said nothing. He gave a vague little shuffle about might bes and maybe weâll sees to a question it doesnât look like they want to answer. He certainly didnât make the hard declaration that was put in his mouth.
Danuser blatantly says that High Elves and Blood Elves are actively joining and becoming Void Elves. If youâre going to deny that, thereâs really nothing that can be done to help you and youâre just showing your true colors. Itâs almost sad really that your only defense is to deny the evidence.
Q: âWhere do the numbers come from?â
A: âOther elves have found out about them.â
You do you though
Pros: +1 | Antis: -1
Iâm not seeing those words coming out of him. I see a vague statement that elves have heard about them and could seek them out and see if they could do what they did. For example âwould see IF they could undergo a similar processâ
Having thought about it a bit, I mean itâs an opening for the âIf you want to say your void elf isnât one of the generic background ones that started with Umbric, thereâs empty space in the story you can work withâ But itâs not some hard fact one way or the other of whatâs going on with the void elf numbers, no matter how hard you want it to be.
Actually, it became irrelevant when void elves themselves were introduced, which is a thing some of us pointed out with void elves to begin with. Theyâre a âraceâ pulled out of thin air and a rip off of blood elves.
Blizzard shouldâve just given the Alliance the High Elves that we already had.
Bingo. Or not stepped into the âwe are gonna do a race swapâ territory at all.
Honestly⊠I think ARs were one of the worst things they did now that itâs essentially all said and done.
It was particularly bizarre given the prominence of high elves in BfA. The main warfront portal lady is a high elf, there are high elven forces at Stromgarde, they added wandering high elf adventurers to Stormwind, there are high elves in some of the island expeditions, and Vereesa was more prominent than sheâs been since WOTLK or MoP. Plus thereâs Alleria, who, despite ostensibly being a void elf, looks entirely high elven.
As much I like the concept and aesthetic of void elves, thereâs no reason not to add high elf customisation options.
Iâve said this on the forums several times, Blizzard shot themselves in the foot with this one. They thought Void Elves would satisfy the High Elf community, it didnât, now they trying to appease them with the skin tones, which still isnât what they wanted 100%. Should have just saved themselves the trouble, done High Elves, which they could have made unique enough with various customization options and been done with it.
Sure there is. The horde fanboys whining about it. But now there is just the hair color separating the two. They might as well give both races the high elf look and diverge them with other customizations. So far Blood elves have both fel and Light as sources of power. It would make sense to have customizations that reflect this.
This attitude is kind of yucky. Not as yucky as impersonating people, but still pretty yucky.
And good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. And how are we all this morning?
Iâm so glad others are pointing this out now because really.
I slept quite well knowing weâre a day closer to our desires being listened too.
How about yourself?
Pretty sure if you just make the habit of quoting yourself over and over again itâs spam. And adding nothing new to the convo, kind of sad but not unsurprising given the other rather insecure behavior weâve seen. And thatâs like the third or fourth time theyâve reposted that text since posting it originally 2 days ago.
Doing well. Got myself a coffee and took my dog for a long, long walk. He needed it.
What breed of dog?
I know, Iâve seen it, it kind of makes me laugh but look at the source.
