Void Elf-High Elf Customization Thread

You’re arguing with someone who’s been too deep in their rabbits hole for years now. They follow every single elf related thread spamming the same nonsense that preventing people from choosing their hair colors merits as much value as those suggesting new options. For the last few years now.

It’s like you said, it’s as if someone got mad at me for changing my hair color at a hair salon due to their feelings.
In this case it’s video game hair colors.
I can totally understand your confusion.

And now you can change your eyes along with the Void skin tones leaving the void almost unused on a Void Elf minus the hair.

If the hair is the visual distinction then to me it is what it is, and I think Alleria should or could reflect that better.

Even if they left her hair and did what Magnificent proposed with the Void turned on all the time that is acceptable as well but I would say her hair looks less blonde their too and more like a silver option VEs already have.

From what I understand she technically does what shadowpriests do and shift in void form when they’re in combat.

Void elves are probably more “infected” with void? I wish we could stay in perma void form but then shadowpriests would probably be like :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Her hair isn’t blonde in void form.

However, it doesn’t look like any of the colours that void elves currently get.

It’s more a pinkish light silver. Player Void Elves don’t get any light silvers, let alone anything resembling that particular colouration.

You seem awfully familiar.

It’s almost like you’ve used this same line for years  awfully familiar but I would point out I haven’t been anti HE options for a year or years.

Lann was advocating for high elves on the Alliance for a long time before Shadowlands.

He only changed his stance when blood elves were given very little new options when void elves got all of their skin colours.

They should definitely get that Void coloring then.

Agreed. I think it looks very nice, while also looking obviously different enough from the white and silvers Blood Elves get.

That would satisfy people clamoring for a silver or white without stepping too hard on Blood Elf toes.

At least in my opinion.

I’m dekuleaf, this is my mage alt, the guild name and ach gives it away.

Back under the bridge with you.

I didn’t mention anything about helfs either, interesting that you jump to that topic over a hair color, so now you don’t want people playing high elves?

No, he thinks void elves come close enough now. I mean, he’s not really wrong either.

I am aware, I never realized he changed his stance on high elves though.

So then why are you acting brand new again when you know

I haven’t even been in the convo for multiple years.

This is not respectful.

The hair options you’re trying to downplay are a HE fan requested option, and you would know since you’ve been here for years advocating for HE options.

I’m not acting brand new, should I claim you’re acting brand new when you post on your 15 belf alts too?

Stop it.

And you are? Have some self-awareness

Lol downplay what? You can stop using “hair options” or “hair styles” all the time, you know I’m referring to hair colors. It has nothing to do with high elves.
Would receiving human hair colors fall more in line with the high elf look? Absolutely.
I’d still be a void elf though.

If something as mild as a hair color takes away that much distinction, he shouldn’t be constantly hounding after people over a hair color over perhaps…suggesting things for blood elves?
None of his views are objective at all.

Like why would you care about what I want my hair color to be? Go away lol, I don’t care about your feelings over my personal hair color. (not you, just the sentiment)

Yes because no one would ever know it was me

I am not mocking you.

This is mocking.

You’re also making statements about me which are untrue, of which I felt the need to correct.

And that is the issue that for some reason you always try to summarize as

Which is an attempt to paint the opposition poorly, as it is valid to want visual distinction in place, you not getting 100% of what you want and having to compromise with another part of the player base don’t mean that part of the player base is unreasonable or bad which that analogy makes it seem.

What is it about Lann’s posts that you find disrespectful? I haven’t seen any disrespect on his part.

It’s because if we get hair colour that is similar to blood elf hair colour, it makes us look more like blood elves and eats away at their theme of standard elf.

You don’t have to agree with it to realize it’s a valid stance to hold.

Because it’s too easy, you do the job for me.

You’re telling people that they’re not allowed to choose their hair color. That on its own is poor behavior.

No it’s not. It’s a different opinion. How is this so hard to grasp?

He’s constantly been disrespectful, especially with new people. Also mocking me for posting on my alt.

Anyways Somand I like you but I know you’re biased when it comes to calling out your friends with their obnoxious behavior.

You’ve said this many times. If hair color is all it takes to throw someone off, then that’s their hill to die on, not mine. They’re free to suggest new options for blood elves, which is never going to get done. Why?
Because they’re too busy attacking people who want to change their hair color.

What is this logic?
In that case does that mean I can say “I want all bunnies to be exterminated”, but it’s my opinion so that’s okay?

Branding something as an opinion doesn’t free you from all the shade and poor motives you put into that opinion.
