I don’t know if it invalidates their story, but it does seem like it kind of defeats the purpose.

Funny story with me, before they broke the addon I enjoyed transforming as a worgen in combat on my DK. Then they broke the addon and worgens became meh to me.

Okay, so if Demon Hunters are not an independent race, even though they’re literally permanently biologically transformed by Fel, even infused with a Demon soul, then Void Elves are not their own separate race either.

Both are High Elves.

So how do you explain the fact that Night Elf demon hunters also exist?

Mages are actually my favorite class to make multiples of, the portals and food are just cool to me slowfall, and I love each mage spec.

The other night a Dh paid me 500g for a portal to Oribos from Sinfall.

I had forgotten of the days when I could make gold with being a multipurpose vending machine.

You not understanding (or wanting to understand) a fact =/= not making sense.

I’m speaking from a lore perspective, Greatbrae.

You argue Void Elves are a separate biological race because they were infused with the Void and consequently transformed by it. Ok, that’s a valid point.

However, Demon Hunters are the exact same example, but with Fel, and for some odd reason you don’t consider them a different biological race from Blood Elves (?).

So, which is it? Either Void Elves and Demon Hunters are different species from Blood Elves or they’re all the same species.

You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

You’re the one that doesn’t understand that classes and races follow different rules.

A paladin is not a new race because they have the light coursing through their body, but a Lightforged Draenei is, because that’s a race.

I’d actually make a good dev for this type of topic because I’d replace both Nightborne model and Void Elf model with new models so they are unique and different from original races, pink hair for all races, better facial hair and body hair options for men, jewelry options for both sexes, tattoos, scars and piercings for all races, etc. but hey if someone wants to think I’d be a terrible one I’m okay with that.

Taking away something that people are already invested in is not going to go well. Even the slight alterations to blood elves are still being complained about and that is just the devs not nailing the look 100 percent with new graphics. Sorry, that’s not going to happen.

Demon hunters is a class not a race. And not even an independant race at that.

Demon hunters are no longer strictly night elves or blood elves.

They specifically say they’re half demon now. (or more) they just used a specific ritual to get there unlike how Legion Demons tend to be made… (allegedly anyway, since we have little good info on that even)

Demon hunters and Void Elves are no longer what they were.

Whether folk want to bicker on whether that means they should get this customization or otherwise is besides the point.

I love the black and white (white is usually my go to hair color). I wish the brown was a bit darker and more deep. I don’t like blonde, but it’s cool as well.

Blood Elf players cried because their eyes were too big and the boys went :3 , while my secondary race lost their skull face entirely.

But it’s okay to entirely revamp other race’s models.

I’m all for new animations though. Nightborne at least got custom stances. Void elves really should have gotten that too, and all the Legion AR’s needed custom dances.

They are half demon.

They’re still not their own seperate race because Demon Hunter it’s a class.

This is true.

Blizzard is not always consistent.

In the case of Demon Hunters they are a class and no longer entirely what they were.

The only way for Blizzard to bring that in feasibly was making it strictly a class not a race.

Void elves while similar in that they are no longer what they were were made as a race.

Claiming anything because look DHs fit this one thing that void elves do so it should be the same doesn’t work.

They’re two different things.

I hope you get your skull face back. As for dances, it is high time that they add multiple dances in game independent of race.
