dalaran was actually part of the alliance at that point. dalaran joining the alliance in mop was a big narrative that was very hard to miss, likewise in legion when it went back to neutrality and jaina peaced out and khadgar assumed control. do you even play the game?

I’m not arguing that the SC doesn’t like the alliance over the horde, just that it’s not concretely spelled out anywhere if they are members of the alliance, or an outside group that works with them but is not a subsection of the Alliance.

At least when I mention it thats all I’m referring to. No one is really pretending they are not aligned and definitely fight alongside the Alliance… we see that.

Its that they’re part of Dalaran and excepting one instance that I know of always fought with Dalaran’s interests just assisting the Alliance with it while the Sunreavers assisted the Horde.

Can we just stop for now? I want these things too, but they already told us no new customizations, so it’s hopeless. Void elves won’t have nice hair until 10.0 at the earliest.

I wish this wasn’t true, but based on what Blizzard said and their track record of not giving players things we ask for… it just hurts to even see this thread.

More reason to keep asking for when the time DOES come! We need and WANT our belf hair colors for our High Elves c: There are so many amazing screenshots that have velves in blonde, white, black and red.

Why do we need to tell them that voide elves have 6 or 7 hair colors and Final Fantasy characters all get about 100 colors or more?

Blood Elves are High Elves and already fulfill that fantasy, it’s unfair to give a Horde core race in its entirety to the Alliance.

What we know is they spoke about the options at length before implementing them and yet visual distinction remains in place.

The RP tools are cool if you’re able to take advantage of them to the extent that they exist as is, if not I can only hope Blizzard takes into account that your request comes at other people’s visual distinctions expense and those people are the ones who’ve already seen visual uniqueness get to the point where hair was left as the last defining factor.

I disagree! <3 I think that Blizzard should give them common ground (which they have) and then further diversify each race with their own new themes. Void is obviously void (Galaxy, Moon, Stars) And then Blood Elves could get dark rangers, light, fel stuff! <3 They already look similar, they even looked the same before!

If your stance is they’ve already given you what they intended then you acknowledge they don’t intend to give you the hair options.

If you’re just trying to point to what Blizzard has done as proof that things are going your way you’re overlooking and not acknowledging where things didn’t go your way for obvious reasons of visual distinction mattering.

They’re still high elves…

My only issue has really been people claiming them as Alliance… Things like seeing them move to SW… They live and have families in Dalaran… Why would they just up and leave?

And on my own personal level… Why would one want to play them? They committed genocide against their own people… With little proof that anyone they hunted down did anything…
