So the idea of a Void Elf DH sounded good. I ran the Void Elf embassy quest and gained the ability to create VE characters, then used an Alliance hunter at max level and using a link in my Adventure Guide for this exact quest chain, went to Ka’resh and found Umbric and started the first half of the quest line (the one that ends with “Hunger of the Void”). This went fine and completed, however, after the final subquest, Magister Umbric did not have a new quest for the final half (“The Pursuit Continues”). The prompt was no longer in my Adventure Guide. I dug through all my visible quests all over Stormwind, Silvermoon and Khaz Algar and saw nothing related. I used a console command to confirm that I had indeed completed “Hunger of the Void”. So I used a second character and tried again, and … same thing. A third character… same thing.
So I started a brand new VE mage at level 10 and spent over a week leveling it, and I finally got to Dornogal and then went to Ka’resh and found Umbric and started the chain and again, when I finished the first part … NOTHING.
I have spent a great deal of time searching the ‘Net, asking various AIs, and digging around in these forums and can’t find an answer as to why the second half of the quest chain for this doesn’t appear. I am very very frustrated. I want to be able to make a VE DH. What gives? There appears to be no help anywhere.
