I saw a really good warlock customization with a male void elf, pale blue skin, white hair (one of the tentacle dos, but tentacles toggled off), dramatically purple eyes, white armor.
Looked really eerie and cool at the same time.

…I’ve just been lurking by barber shops. My voidies didn’t change a lot with the patch, honestly. Not much that I’d really want.
Though I do like the toggle. Wish it went the other way, but while I like the tentacles, they looked (sorry) gadawful on some of the short hairstyles and it’s nice to be able to ditch them.
Was fun to go through my HMT/LFD/NB and their pages of options and then I hit VE and was smacked with the single page and proceeded to get sad.
My girl is just going to sit idle until Blizzard gives me a reason to play a Void Elf.

These guys got so much and velfs so little it makes me think that they’re planning to add more customization to them along with belfs. It would mitigate some of the anger from either getting lots of new customization lol

I don’t really care what BEs get. I just want Void customizations for Void Elves and when you compare them to the other ARs from Legion…they’re just bare and uninspired. Which is weird because there is a lot of creativity to be had with the Void theme. I mean just look at this thread, fans are more inspired than Blizzard.

So… what are people’s thoughts on the update? Obviously it’s lacking compared to the great ideas of this thread.
I think the ear length is new? That’s good. Medium and short is preferable for me than the long. The tentacle toggle is a nice addition to change things up.
Overall I think if they added about 4 more hair styles and a few additional eye color options that would’ve went a long way. The lack of hair styles is kind of unacceptable. Blizzard gotta be one of the laziest devs I swear. Even modders on games that do it for free put more into it. The new hair colors would’ve felt more complete with more hair styles to choose from the choices just feel so limited.

I mean, I’m not a high elf fan. This update did nothing for me in terms of customization. Happy for nightborne and those who like the vanilla options, but actual void customization would have been interesting to me, like starcursed hair. More void options in general.
I hope input from this thread on VOID customization is looked at sometime.

Yeah, I get you, but imagine if velfs got something basic like tats. The forums would explode with angry belf threads. I think the best move would be to update them together.

This forum is always angry.
They don’t have to add things that BEs don’t have themselves, they just had to provide some Void options to sate the thirst just a little.
I’d say it’s important to see that the ARs got similar options of their base race counter parts, so I wouldn’t expect anything different for the VEs when compared to BEs.

Hopefully there will be more down the road.
That isn’t the same as what blood elves get.
But yeah, void elf customization is decidedly light on options compared to the other Legion crew now. I’m a natural optimist, though, and hopefully all these shiny new things will only lead to more later on! For everyone. Including void elves.

Maybe on the next sub spike 
they weren’t going to give us more customizations until 
hit the fan.
Maybe with this reorg at Blizzard and management shuffle we’ll get folks that are passionate about the game and will let their artists provide players with fun things that aren’t passion projects outside of work hours.

MORE VOID FOR THE VOID ELVES 100%. I won’t lie, I thought Turokan skin tones for Void elves were a perfect comprise to both sides, natural tones but still have that hint of void. I was sad they just gave them blood elf skin tones but alas, I’m just one voice in the wind now so I will scream at the top of my lungs for more void options. Let me embrace the void!

Emphasis on the lack of hair styles for Void elves. Currently Void elves stand at a max of 12 hairstyles and that’s for males (females only have 10 exc bald). Blood elf females stand at a whooping 25 hairstyles. The Velf jewellery are also incredibly underwhelming.

This feels right! (Muir here). I even like when EE activates because of how much it contrasts with my character’s looks. Like when Morbius goes vampire mode
