This thread does not see the LGBTQIA+ as mere politics. People are who they are and that should be respected.

I for one would be over the moon for an LGBTQIA+ representative character within the Void Elves ranks.

Gender and Sexuality is not politics just because politicians try to make it so.

For lore, I’d like to see some clear cut, non-vague, npc dialogue showing those High Elf Wayfarers that have remained loyal to the Alliance, and those Blood Elf Scholars who left behind Silvermoon, actually joining the Ren’dorei, and some indications as to why . Knowing how these elves came to the decision to embrace the void, and all the pros and cons that entails, would go a long way to fleshing out the Void Elf background and motivations.

I like this a lot. If you don’t mind, when I finish my rework of the last section I’d like to make use of this bit.

If I had my way, in an expansion that featured us going to the Void itself to face off against the Void Lords, I’d want to see the Ren’dorei front and center, with a flying Ren’dorei themed fortress acting as the Alliance hub for the expansion (and similarly a Suramar-esque flying fortress hub for the Horde, with the Nightborne and Sin’dorei working together to get the Horde there).

This would be awesome.

I might be a downer, but logically I do not ever see it becoming a full city since it has literally no resources or any food or water. And the logistics of making a full city on a series of floating rocks is not something I see Blizzard Artist working out.

Thats a fair take honestly.

While its a dream of mine I don’t really expect a full city to be honest. But I think they could add things like explaining how we make more of ourselves.

I do see it becoming some sort of place of study and/or laboratory. And I think the building style would be very reminiscent of Hero’s Rest in bastion with the way it is settled in that big rock. Also in the way it doesn’t need a roof because there’s no rain.

Yeah this is a more reasonable likelihood I think. Still Its good to dream.

I know your asking nico, but I’ve been thinking this morning that telogras could use some elven styled mage towers to help it with the more magey founding of the organization.

Let’s not forget the orginal group came from magisters whom is mages.

Aye. I will actually be talking a bit about that in my rewrite for the last section of my OP.

I agree the magisters and “wardens” (Warlocks) should have an area to themselves.

I expect this is where we’ll find the Void Elves “HQ” of sorts as well as where Umbric spends most of his time.

The void-tinged hands and feet are pretty cool, but that sha-touched art is amazing. Definitely need more actual void customization for void elves.

Another thought, if a city or not be made in telogras, it would be cool if they developed a mage laboratory to practice or experiment with void magic as their capital building.

Give it a sciencey feel to the place.

Kinda like Drede said I don’t honestly think a full city will happen but things like this are entirely possible.

If you played Diablo 2, the heroes would technically go into the Hell by taking stairs from Pandemonium Fortress. So in a theoretical way, since void is bottom hell, you would take stairs down. While Light would be stairway up.

It would be an odd choice by blizzard given they’ve got assets there already, and why not just build up the rift, but yeah they could do that. Make a void portal down some stairs into the actual realm of the void.

Could be part of the start of a void expansion sometime in the future.
