DHs can have tattoos that glow at all times, but only in the lightest green colour. Maybe they could let the other DH tat colours have glowing variants as well. That’d be cool too.
Personally through I don’t want Dark Ranger and San’layn Options for Void Elves since they should go to Blood Elves since it makes more sense, and that Void Elves should stick with not only High Elf Option but also Void as well.
As long as we get something that is a balance and not over much. That atleast would be agreeable.
We’re stuck for good or ill with the high elf options. Which is fine. Those can synergize with regular void elves thanks to wayfarers and scholars.
High Elves by themselves (Their stories and such) do not add to void elves lore and story. They can follow along side (or vice versa) but this thread is concerned with the Void Elves, and that void aspect and their stories.
Folk who want High elf groups to join with the Void Elves while I understand their intent I feel like it greatly weakens void elves not strengthens them.
We need time to grow on our own and stand apart.
Similarly adding in San’layn or Dark Rangers to the Void Elves would do exactly the same, not to mention be taking Death into the void elves. Something that seems to be at odds with the Void. It takes away from our potential stories and growth by hamstringing us with other races and cultures stories. And that is before you get to the simple truth that both Dark Rangers and San’layn are Horde requests that have existed long before Void Elves did or that they fit far better and are far more setup to be Horde.
All of that said, I’m not saying people who want those things shouldn’t, I have always maintained what you personally want is what you personally want.

This shows them a few different ways. As an option for either the back or shoulder or helm slot. As a customization option at the barber. And a no void wings option!

Provided by Lancelot; this mock up shows several options rolled into one. Claws (its under his boots but he has them on his feet too.), Third eye, N’zoth style eye, Stomach Mouth and face tentacles.
Its been mentioned before but I have little hope of us actually getting face tentacles or a stomach mouth like that, but the claws and third eye are really not that out there for void elves.
I hope everyone enjoys Voidberg as much as I do. Hes a bit of a mascot in my mind for this thread these days.
Anyways, I’m hoping to have new updates to the thread next week sometime, including imgur albums with a large amount of the pictures and options I’ve collected in my notes but that wont really fit easily into the main post. I’ve been having lots of issues with pictures there as I seem to have reached some sort of limit per post with it and need to cut down some. Beyond that I also decided to streamline and rewrite a few parts of the main post.
We better see sub-races so we can finally split away from you void abominations. I dunno how much we’re going to end up seeing on the 19th, but I hope it’s enough to satisfy all parties.
Both of these are kinda along the lines of what I’d like to see for a void knight class…a void/aberration form they’d shift into for combat (toggleable). The ranger one would be more mid shift, as I’d want it to be fully encompassing. Havin a variety of options to customize the form based on void creatures and old gods. It’d make a great class option for a void elf. Kind of a medieval fantasy void casting Venom.
The void corrupted broken on Argus were another that kinda has that vibe, but only partially encompassing.
What would your opinion be if they instead added a Void Knight class skin to Death Knights? All their abilities would be Void skinned (Death Coil into Void Bolt, Howling Blast into Void Gale, etc.), and their undead minions would be skinned into Void aberrations. If they ever do class skins that is.
