I got white hair coming for my DK.
I am satisfied.
I hope everyone else also gets their turn at what they want

You know what, I’m just going to leave this with you:
These customisations are destroying the Void Elf lore:
Customisations have nothing to do with the lore in general. Player Characters =/= Lore Characters. And considering for the Void Elves, the lore is all based mostly around Alleria Windrunner, from saving Umbric and his followers to unlocking them, there isn’t much lore to simply state what Void Elves would truly look like in future generations.
Honestly, as much as I would like to see more hair styles for the Void Elves, I rather some new unique hair styles. Otherwise, if not, then just copy some of the hair styles from some of the Alliance races to the Void Elves.
See, I’m of the opinion that we can really have both.
Give us SOME of the blood elf hair styles and the true black hair colour AND give us more void-like hairstyles.
I’m completely down for both.
Let we—the players—choose to customise our characters how we want. Give us plenty of options. The reality of the matter is this: high elves and void eleven are both apart of the Alliance. Chose which you want to play and I say no we all just be at peace with those who chose to do the same.
We can start talking about this when the Alliance is on the same level as we are. They are a neglected player faction and until they can be taken seriously we need to foster them. Pushing the Horde as the even more superior player faction will not help them, it will literally destroy the core principle of World of Warcraft.
First the Alliance, then we. The developers have catered to us way too long when it comes to fan requests.
I strongly disagree. Raised Humans are fine but I remember that due magic it shouldn’t be possible to raise Night Elves at all. Wasn’t this the reason why Worgen cannot be raised as well and are the natural enemies of the scourge and Forsaken?
We had dark ranger night elves on the horde for a whole expansion. Wether the alliance are in a good state is a non issue for me. Blizz should enable crossfaction play for the health of the game. RP wise we can still fight for the pvp lore. Gameplay wise we should be able to party together.
It’s just another spam void elf topic.
I know some of the postings might have fallen down the page but it’s polite to do a quick search to see if there are already topics so as not to post duplicates which are considered spam.
The amount of void elf topics are so numerous it’s starting to look like spam now. It would be super nice if void/high elf fans would keep it down to 1 or 2 topics instead of a dozen.
Honestly hope they give Blood Elves and Void Elves elvish tattoos next like Alleria has. That would be pretty cool
They just had to f it up by adding exact copies of the hair colors the blood elves had instead of doing natural hair colors with a little purple/blue. They had already met the high elf fans halfway by adding void elves. The skin tones and hair colors are basically it now.
“I see no harm in more options…” - except when it destroys the unique qualities of both races. I play both factions even though I’m Horde for life. I played Alliance if I wanted to look like a void elf. I wouldn’t cry and beg to play on the other side, much less mope about not getting what the other one is getting.
Blizzard’s like that parent that buys kid #2 the same toy as kid #1 because kid #2 is not happy that they got something different and they like what kid #1 got, and kid #2 will do it with every item Blizzard gives.
But it’d also make sense that they don’t use Blood Elf hairstyles if they don’t want to be mistaken as a Horde Elf by an angry drunk Dwarf.
In fact, imagine people thinking you are an Elf from the Horde. That alone is enough reason to change even the name, it’s a disgrace. I feel pity for my beloved Blood Elves and Nightborne.
It is just a hair color calm down. Barbershops should have a ton of hair dye for all the different races that go in there. Why are people thinking hair color means so much to a race? Do we really want to think hair color has racial identity because that’s how low of cosmetics we have to choose from? The hair get’s covered up with armor anyway most of the time. It’s a non-issue.
So what exactly is wrong with that? Blizzard is the rule-maker after all, so technically they ARE the parent. I think that’s a lovely thing to do. I once mocked a friend of mine because I had a better lookind doll than her when we were little, she cried so bad. My mum gave me a good, well deserved beating for mocking her and always bought the same dolls for both me and my friends in the future!
They are effectively the same race with different names. They are closer to pandarens more then anything else.
Oh please! Kul Tiran and Stormwind humans are literally the same race! They were just given two different body types. Heck you cant even tell me someone like say Flynn is Kul Tiran unless you knew the lore.
Not particularly, in fact, the Void Elf creation page even states we are not one of the new initiates:
“Seeking to harness the corruptive magic of the Void, these outcast elves endured an unexpected transformation. They are determined to master their newfound powers and resist the whispers eager to lure them into madness.”
The devs have even clarified that the High Elf customizations are not canon…
I was not aware that Tushui and Huojin Pandaren respectively bled blue and red… you are aware that Void Elves: bleed purple, have a different voice, different voice emotes, tentacles, mental whispers, etc… correct?
“Anything I disagree with, it is spam”
Ironic.
Let’s see…
Yeah, just another spam post contributing to a thread.
You forgot to mention skin tones and faces, so no. “Just a hair color” alone is far from defining racial identity, it’s the combination of all the things they’re given. With every little feature they copy over, people like you always say, “oh, it just this one thing… it’s only this and that… not that big of a deal… it doesn’t define a race… ”
And the problem is that it never ends. That’s the issue. They take and take from blood elves.

So, what are you saying, Blizzard should just add a 3rd High Elf race, using the same model on the Alliance for us Alliance players to be able to have our playable Alliance High Elves?
They take and take from blood elves.
Considering it is Blizzard that owns the Blood Elves.
They’re taking from Blood elves because for the last 16 years both the blood elf fanbase and Blizzard have been dangling blood elves and high elves over peoples’ noses without actually giving them. Took that parent long enough, lol.

I said CLOSER to padarens. Not copies. At this point void elves/blood elves are neutral race lite.

No they have never said anything of the sort. In fact we see blood elves/high elves learning the void in Telargus and assume these new breed of void elves come from them.
