False. I hope everyone gets fancy options. Take a breather, friend.
We’ve both asked and made heaps of art for the unique hairstyles we want, but ok, lul
That’s a trademark of the sin’dorie styling co.
by becoming voidelves you voided (heh) your rights to use that color.
“Anti-helf” flaming is just as bad as full blown “I NEED EVERYTHING” helf fans, just so you realize.
I do not get friends to flag bomb someone who disagrees and then consistently bully them throughout other threads and gather more friends to bully them. That is a High Elf trait.
Good day and I shall ignore you in full from now on.
Thanks I guess? lol? Self-awareness is something to work on.
Though I’m beginning to doubt this, considering the other people lurking around. How amusing.
??? Either way, thanks for blocking me. I’ve made sure to do the same.
A lot of passion and hyperbole here.
Words like “disgusted”; names like “bully”; calling people “selfish”… Again, I think we can have better conversations here. By all means, have your point of view, but improve the delivery, I’d say.
Look—again—blizzard have implied that the second batch—wave—of void elves are normal high elves and blood elves who have decided to follow in the void elves footsteps; that appears to be the implication. In other words, not all void elves are tentacle-purple people; and that’s fine, in my book. And, if that isn’t a compelling point, then just look at the race’s co-leader—she’s a high elf who can switch forms!
Again, void elves are more than just a look; they are are essentially a political and military force.
There is room for more options. It makes sense. There really isn’t any dilution here, and the quest for purity at the expense of others expression—at the cost of more options of expression for others—seems to ridged and moot, in my opinion; especially when the narrative is counter to the purity sought after.
I was gonna say this didn’t need another thread but some of the replies in this thread are golden so I’m quite happy with reading it already.
Oh sweetie. This will go on forever.
I could really careless especially when people on your own faction are shading you and I mean you specifically.
I’m so glad you ran into me again. It’s almost like you only pick high elf threads to post in. Either way, it’s always been unpleasant interacting with you. Have a lovely night.
I honestly didn’t know—or think—that the topic of this thread was so incendiary. Clearly there is some passion and history—in this forum— that’s gone over my head.
It’s a shame. I don’t believe this to be a thorny subject on its own…
It’s not. People just find ways to make it so.
Well it is a public forum so people are going to post whatever they want to about the topic at hand when you bring it up.
No problems with that AT ALL. Varying opinions are welcome; and desired. I’d not dare say anything to the contrary.
But, judging via the responses to this thread, this subject gets more then just opinions shared… People get angry; to the point of name calling and treating others in bad faith from the get-go.
I don’t think that’s healthy for the community; particularly right now. Now, I obviously can’t stop that sort of a response, but I can—and am—state that it’s wildly unwarranted.
Lol, wow you really must be new because that happens in every thread on this topic and even in some that have nothing to do with it.
You got me; this is my first post on these forums in years.
Colour me naïve.
Well welcome back sorry you had someone bash you as soon as you made a new thread but I assure you it’s nothing new especially with this topic.
Might as well, just make Blood Elves neutral at this point.
Thank you! I always feel like I’m in the minority that I want my Void Elf to be Void-ier.
I don’t want a cheap knock-off bargain bin Belf look. I want the Voidiest toon that has ever Voided. I think it’s nuts that Velfs are getting 3 shades of blonde hair but no black. But it often seems like I’m in the minority on this, and those of us that want Void options (even something simple like black hair) are told to sit down and shut up because Void Elves are getting too much. The problem is that what we’re getting has nothing to do with the original intent of the Void Elves. I would gladly trade all 5 of the new hair colors for black in a second. But no, those who want to make the race into something completely different get their way instead. It’s frustrating, tbh.
I don’t care what other people do with their toons. I’m not paying their subscriptions. But when it comes to other options coming at the expense of options that follow the original intent of the race, then I do care.
