Yaaaaawn Sylvanas gets a slap on the wrist as everyone expected. Here’s what I hope happens, Sylvanas is gone from Wow for 6 and exactly 6 expansions, then we find out that she’s done her ‘punishment’ and freed every soul, it took eons for her but only around a decade of Azeroth time. She then asks that Tyrande be the one to decide her fate now as she’s expecting forgiveness from the High Priestess.
Tyrande-“You have completed your task Sylvanas?”
Sylvanas-“Yes Tyrande, I have done as you asked, I saved all the Night Elf souls I could…though some have been lost forever…”
Tyrande-“I understand, you have done all you could. You are now free to leave this place and be reunited with the love of your life, Nathanos”
Sylvanas smiles for the first time in what seems like an eternity"
Sylvanas-“Really? Thankyou, thank-”
Tyrande-“SYKE, his soul is gone, obliterated”
Sylvanas-“No…no it can’t be! We were meant to be together forever!”
Tyrande-“Oh you don’t have to worry about that…”
*Tyrande obliterates Sylvanas on the spot as she lets out an existential scream of pure terror
Tyrande-"Good riddance"Goes back to Azeroth and Shadowlands is never mentioned again
