Welp…thanks Blizz.
Whatever you guys broke yesterday with the patch, I hope it was worth it.
Oh…a new mount and a re-implemented system? Wow…great job.
For that, I can’t even play properly anymore. Even on the absolute minimum settings, in SW, I’m getting 10-12 FPS.
Yeah, my system isn’t great, it’s 5 years old at this point, but it was doing just fine till this expac. And no, I can’t afford another desktop or upgrades right now.
Guess it’s just time to unsub and move on for awhile…I hear FF14 isn’t so system demanding.

I read anti-aliasing got turned off with the patch. Mine was off when I checked it.
Check your settings and see if thats the issue.
I get 30 fps (purposely capped) on my old mbp ‘12 with all settings at 1 besides resolution and render. Desktop is doing fine with 2700+1080ti and 32gb.
Something else is going on for you.
I had glitches with concrete pads flashing in the maw yesterday. It gave the maw a techno club vibe.
Still didn’t make the soul run fun though. Techno vibes can’t even make the place fun lol.
Anti aliasing somehow made it worse, dropping it down to 4 fps.
Yeah, I already said is was a years old rig, but I don’t have the money to just drop for a new one, or even just a stick of worthwhile ram.
It probably is something on my end, but nothing’s changed since the release aside from windows updates, and those have been fine so far.
It’s w/e at this point anyway…SL isn’t the exciting thing they promised anyway. Better than BFA? Sure…captivating? not in any sense of the word.
30+ fps with my potato even after patch.
This sounds like the known issue with the 460-series Nvidia drivers.

Reverting to the latest 458.xx corrects it.
