I mean, that’s been Blizz’s philosophy for two full xpacs now. Nothing new about it. Do you honestly expect them to change it at this point?
Your arguement has nothing to do with currency. If it did, it would have some legs to stand on. You can’t just change your arguement because you’re embarassed now. You even said THAT YOU HAVE VESSELS. You just can’t do the vision alone.
I see, so other social groups act terrible, so it’s ok for us to act terrible too, solid logic. This is why people are driven from the game, not because of Blizzard, but by the fan base that literally eats itself alive.
My argument was that soloing was the meta, and holy priests are broken for soloing, ergo fixing this meta would fix the issue.
Holy priest isn’t broken for soloing, as many other people have proven otherwise. It’s a learn to play issue, and I don’t even mean that in a rude way. Visions are unlike any other content you usually do, you need to focus on dpsing instead of healing. You have to adapt your playstyle. Or like you said, admit defeat.
What mechanic are you speaking of, I’ve leveled my cloak exclusively in a group…
There are also multiple holy priests who have commented and said that it’s extremely difficult and we can only clear a very small portion and agreed that it’s a problem.
But it’s not surprising that people would say l2p since that’s basically the canned response to anyone arguing that Blizzard has not tuned a piece of content appropriately.
Actually, I love that kind of environment. A lot of people do, it’s a matter of being able to deal with criticism of what I do, without taking it as being a direct criticism of me as a person. You only get better at things by failing at first, then working at it and getting better, which includes taking criticism and advice from people. Something you appear utterly unwilling to do.
Blizzard should change raids so I can tank as ret. I don’t want to change spec anymore so I DEMAND you change it. I will do nothing. If you don’t, Blizzard. I QUIT.

There’s multiple Holy Priests on here who have ALSO said they’ve full cleared.
Just get MOTHER talents. And start clearing some content worthy of your ‘mythic raider’ claim.
The mobs in horrific visions are tuned to have 42% less health for solo healers, but the problem is that isn’t enough for specs like holy priest. It’s fine for holy pallies who can push out damage, but holy priests are another story.
Holy does 1/10th the damage of DPS specs, has no interrupt to stop the frequent sanity drain/stun channels, and has limited mobility. Blizzard should stop with this global health tuning for roles and should instead tune the mobs based on individual class and spec. Unfortunately, modern Blizzard is unlikely to do anything that requires more than the bare minimum amount of work needed to keep 8.3 running, so holy mains are out of luck.

OP said she was pulling like 10K or so earlier. As a BDK, I was pulling like 18K at the start of the patch. She can use the vision buffs to easily get to 18K and full clear like I was.
If other people want to participate in that kind of environment then you can do so in your guild/locker room. You don’t have to spout hatred and skill shame people on the forums and in game just because they complain that a feature isn’t tuned right.
This insinuation is also just utterly rude and inflammatory. You have no idea how I play the game, and the fact that you’d jump to that kind of conclusion reveals that by
what you really mean is you like environments where you can harass other people who you don’t feel are meeting your arbitrary standards. Which makes you the norm on the forums I’m sure.
We don’t even have to play the skill game. Visions should be fun. They are not fun for holy priests. Our spec is a pure healer, and all they would have to do is make some adjustments to make HV more forgiving to pugs and everything would be fine.
Go regrind all of your BiS essences, corruptions and azerite then switch to SPriest. It should only take a few weeks…

Just because you can’t do it, doesn’t mean it’s not tuned right. You actively gimp yourself by not switching specs. Also, this is how the forums are. You can adapt or leave. Bad threads get tough responses.
I have all my DPS essences and I never went to actively farm them.

As a sober dps/tank person tired of 3 hour ques. I ACCEPT THIS CHANGE EAGERLY AND DON’T CARE BLIZZ. Gearing two sets is painful and also i’m gonna get yelled at whatever i do. Even if my 90% tank parses end up with me being the same #2 dps with 50% of the damage on my tank spec even pre corruption but 100% uptime. Whatever. I just want to play a game. and have fun… and not listen to crying babies in a nursery all day. I’m here to slay some mobs, not experience daddy daycare.
I routinely clear both areas for the pages to upgrade my cloak as holy solo.
The main thing you need to do is just swap in the default dragon blast to main on your neck for the extra DPS.
Don’t need to do any more optimization than that to clear the areas.
I’m just guna start copy and pasting my replies since you keep coming back to say the same things over and over again without addressing them.
