I’m hearing from different sources saying frost wands don’t work while there’s conflicting stories saying it does.
I know in vanilla wands did work when I was in AQ40

It isn’t bugged. As far as the community is aware, they don’t actually know the functionality to what causes Viscidus to freeze. If I am guessing correctly, the damage applied to Viscidus has to have a slow component attached. So Frostbolt, Frost Shock, and those like that will freeze him. Frost damage isn’t what is being checked.
It is indeed bugged - someone linked a video in the other thread on this topic of a raid using absolutely nothing but frost wands to cause viscidus to freeze during vanilla.
If you have a link to this, then yeah. It would then definitively be bugged.

Hotfixed yesterday. Frost wands are working now.
