Visage Form and Ground Mount Hover

First up, I want to show my appreciation for giving us the long asked for full flying form with soar in 10.2.5. Its definitely a step in the right direction and we will praise you for it.

Now we’re still facing two more “problems” in the lack of a Hover-like Ground Mount version for dungeons (have not been to the PTR yet, if the new Soar flying also works as a “normal” mount on the floor, consider this point moot). Could just make it work like either worgen running or druid travel form. If you use Hover outside of Combat it becomes a mount spell.

And finally, the most important thing we keep asking. Let us pick and choose our visage race. Make it a glyph or, even better, follow the warlock / druid trend and give us an option in the barber shop. Maybe add a small quest for max level vokers “Now you’ve seen the world, it has influenced and shaped you, giving you the option to choose different visage forms”. Pretty sure we would be fine with faction restrictions but please let us choose something different than human / blood elf.

While I am in full support of choosing whichever race you want for your visage form, I find it hilarious that every time I read this petition to Blizzard it’s coming from a Vulpera character. :joy: I just know you guys wanna be Majordomo Selistra so bad.

I would like to see a ground version of Soar (like Hover but fast), a normal flying version of Soar, and for the dragonriding version of Soar to use the ground version wherever normal dragonriding mounts would walk. If we were to land softly with the Aerial Halt ability it would slowly drop into a Hover, while if we were to slam against the ground we’d momentarily do the kneel animation that we currently do when we land, and then we’d lift back up into the Hover animation.

Oh, playable races only? Probably Dwarf.

edit: you know, Blizzard could have saved a lot of headache on this by not making Dracthyr a new race, and instead adding the evoker class to all races, but the race you choose -is- your visage, and you also would customize your dragon form.

…but then i guess you’d have to wonder how racials would work. Would all evokers have their racials overwritten? would the dracthyr racials be class abilities instead (tail swipe and wing buffet are in the talent tree, after all), and they’d keep the original racials?

Ya the blood elf visage form especially kills it for me. I try to avoid that dr*g addict elves - I certainly don’t want to look like one. Give us Dwarf / Gnome visage form pls

Adding more Visage forms to my Christmas list. I hate the human model so much, and I can’t see my mog as a Dracthyr. :c

I’ve been thinking a bit about this and am thinking maybe Dark Iron Dwarf would be mine. It would go along with my whole backstory. Or Gnome. I could make that work.
