Its good, but there’s a lot of jarring pieces. There’s a lot of items in Wrath that can achieve the look you’re trying for.

Here’s a link:

Bronzebeard Cinch - This is given to you for the Dwarf Heritage Armor. This will cover your belt.
Verdant Plate Treads - This is the brown variant of the same boots you had.
Domed Buckler - A round shield that is a random drop from Wrath.
Axe of the Cunning - A questing reward axe.

My personal favorite 1H axe for the ‘stereotypical’ (LOL) viking/Vrykul theme is :

And for shields, Wowhead also has a really good transmog guide that outlines all of the shields & where to get them.

Unfortunately, the selection of round shields is pretty limited, most of them will be from classic era greens/blues.

However, I think these two shields fit the theme perfectly:

@Syward, some really great ideas in there; Specifically the axe! Will definitely look into trying to obtain it! As for those two shields though; They are perfect in design, but are, for the strangest reasons, TINY.

Everyone else, I got myself the belt yesterday :smiley:

Also, it’s quite a big ask, but many of the terms regarding where to obtain some of the items proposed are unfamiliar to me.

Could anyone more or less run me through where the easiest locations to obtaining some of the specific items here would be?

Yeah, unfortunately most of the round shields in the game are either extremely small, or overly ornate…

It’s strange because depending on the race/gender some of the shields are much larger - the Domed Buckler for example, is a perfect size on a Human female, but on the small side for the Dwarf.

Well, you see, I just got back after having left during WoD. So, many concepts have changed, and generally, I’m having a little trouble deciphering where it is an item could be obtained. For example, the belt was a ‘Raid Finder’ thing, which I was told wasn’t possible anymore, but, it had a variant sold for 1 MoH.

It sounds crazy, but that’s really throwing me off.

Oh I feel you. I left at the end of Cataclysm and came back just as BfA released. It’s a terrifying new world for me. Hahaha

If you look on Wowhead, it’ll list the primary drop location for an item, and a lot of times, there will be a tab called “Same Model As” which will show you the other items that share the same appearance so you can look and see if there’s an easier way to obtain the item.

And if you find an item from one of the saved outfits, it’ll list each item that shares the appearance.

Back to the subject of the gear;

If you Wowhead some of the gear, it appears you can modify its level (?) and there are ‘Timewalking’ options. What the heavens does that mean?

That shows how the item will scale if you have it equipped while you’re doing a time walking event.

Timewalking are items that drop in timewalking dungeons. Timewalking is a weeklong event (similar to how we have the world quest event for this week) where you can go back and do a specific expansion’s dungeons where you are scaled down to it’s level, but the gear that drops is scaled up to your level. If that makes sense.

It’s basically the same stuff that drops in the dungeon normally, just at an item level appropriate to your level.

Yeah, if you see something that’s timewalking, there’s a low level version just like it that will drop from that same dungeon.

Ok, so, other than that, just referring to the model and (replicas obtained elsewhere) should yield everything I need without any real complication?
