All of us have to battle the RNG boss
huh. Well, we shall see haha.
Better hope most items have vendor variants, or I risk not getting themâŚ
ever.
if the item drops from a Normal difficulty dungeon you can keep running the dungeon over & over again - ALSO - use your alts for the content that youâre restricted to weekly runs for - Death Knight & Paladin can both get you Plate armor appearances and weapon appearances - Rogue & Hunter can get you weapon appearances that can be used on a Warrior too.
The only item I think youâll have an issue with, unless you already have it, are the Tusks of Mannoroth. Abysmally low drop rate on that.
I do not haha.
Additionally, I do not currently have BfA either.
Someone told me there was a consumable that enabled an extra drop from raid bosses though?
Yeah, I donât know how that works though. Iâve never used one.
Alright, no worries.
Why is it some of these items arenât appearing in âCollectionsâ though?
Do you have the option to see uncollected items selected?
Also, the name of the item under collections might be different than the actual item name. lol so confusing
So, only ONE of the variantâs name is listed?
If youâre referring to the bonus roll coins, theyâre a currency that you can purchase starting in MoP content that will allow you an 2nd chance at loot from the raid bosses. After killing a boss, a loot window will pop-up, you can either roll or pass. If you roll, it consumes a coin.
MoP has 2 or 3 different bonus coins, WoD also has 2-3 different coins, both MoP & WoD have different coins for different raids. Legion & BfA each have one coin that can be used for each raid.
The only items that appear in the âCollectionsâ are items that are part of a complete set, like a Raid Tier set or a PvP season seat. Items that belong to Dungeon sets, or are not part of a complete set wonât appear in the âCollectionsâ tab, but you can see them in the individual slot tabs - the individual appearance tabs will also show you were you can obtain the item and some of the other items that share the appearance.
No, no, what Iâm saying is even in the individual section, it is not appearing under one of the names I type.
As for the currency ,thanks for explaining!
Oh I see, it only shows the most common versions of the items & how to get them. For some items thereâs so many variations that use the same appearance, itâd be to much to list out. Best bet is if you find an appearance you like in the appearance tab, go to Wowhead real quick and look for it there and look under the same model as tab to get the full list.
But what about the other way around?
See, I found gloves on Wowhead (the ones on my mog), but theyâre not in Appearances.
I was worried I couldnât obtain them; Thatâs not the case?
Thank you for the currency explanation. Iâve never used one before. Haha
Essentially the same thing - thereâs too many appearances to put them all in the appearances in game - the appearances tab will be listed under the most common item or few items that has the appearance.
If you find it on Wowhead, it should be obtainable in the game, and if itâs not Wowhead will have some red text on the page calling out that itâs no longer available to players.
Many thanks my Dwarven friend.
Badass as always.
I will update you guys on how my search works out.
(Why is it I canât post back to back comments?)
And for some more info on the bonus roll currencies (a must have for transmog hunting!)
You can read about them and where/how to buy them here:

(just remove the space in https - stupid trust systemâŚ)
Thanks <3
Is there meant to be a space in the URL?
The forms wonât let us post a URL to a ânon-trustedâ site (non blizzard or wowhead sites) until our Form Trust level is up to level 3 - Iâm only a level 2. LOL
So to get around it, I put a space in the URL - just remove the space and itâll pull up.
OH, thatâs good to know, but, that wasnât what I needed. What I was wondering was why when I post a comment, it wonât let me post another one until someone else has posted.
Thanks for the heads up on URLs though!
