Is it possible to get a video of my character up to when it died? I need this for a hard core appeal. I’m hoping there is server data that can recreate the events into a brief video. Pretty please? Pizzawarrior - HC Cuties guild, Bloodsail Buccaneers server. Human warrior. lvl 44. having a bad day, please be nice in responses.

Why would you think that Blizzard is capable of recording your play?

I think they have server data on player positions and mob positions to recreate a video of the server action. This would give them the ability to track if someone dc’s and potentially track root causes to better the player experience, and also flag if a death is caused by dc for a hardcore server, but even beyond hardcore having video clips of key moments in game would be awesome for them and players (screen recording in age of empires and replays in StarCraft for example) - it’s free marketing

This right here is why hc is a bad idea. 44 very slow and deliberate levels flushed down the toilet. Noones making you a video man.

So I know there’s a good chance they don’t have the ability to give a video, but I’m hoping my death won’t be for naught and they will add some tracking ability to call out dc’s for people that were safe but then disconnected.

Blizzard…I too would like some video sent to me.
Remember that time in 2020 when I fought that warrior over a black lotus. Of course you do. Just email me that fight please. But edit some cool sound effects and music in too, y’know. Spice it up.

Recording your gameplay is your responsibility, plenty of tools out there that can help with this.

This is sad.
Appeals mean (to me) it’s no longer hardcore.
Blizz doesn’t have the manpower to deal with stuff like this.
If a HC server is coming, it should definitely not be all messed up in appeals.
It’s death=delete, baby. One life. That’s all.

You couldn’t keep playing it if HC was an actual game mode, like with D2.
