I’m having trouble figuring out what the issue is on receiving my Vicious Saddle.
I’ve filled my progress bar twice now, once receiving the Vicious White mount and filling up the bar once again hoping to receive a Vicious Saddle.
I’ve read there might be a bug if you play both Horde and Alliance characters.
Has anyone had any problems receiving a Vicious Saddle this season?
I’ve opened a ticket and they don’t seem to understand that I simply filled my progress bar twice and are referring me to the achievement “Veteran of the Horde/Alliance” when Wowhead clearly states “To earn a Vicious Saddle, you just need to fill up the progress bar again.”
Someone please draw attention to this issue as Blizzard will not reward me with the Vicious Saddle I had intentionally farmed for or please tell me if I’m wrong because I’m a bit confused.
I received a vicious saddle after already earning the Vicious White Warsaber. I also played my alliance and horde character to fill the bar to cap it out.
Cool so you didn’t experience the bug.
It happened last season to me, but I still dont have the first bar filled to check yet this season.
Well he asked if anyone had a problem and I was stating that I in fact did not have a problem so not everyone will experience this bug.

Yes I appreciate your response because it shows I am experiencing a bug, but sadly Blizzard does not realize this.

Is the saddle just not in your bags? I had 2 in my bags the other day, didn’t realize I even had them.
That’s what happened to me last patch.
Saddles are always bugged, I get a few every time I fill the bar just by having my WoW 2 logged in coincidentally.
Check your mailbox and inventory, tell the GM that you’re not refering to the achievement acquisition of vicious saddles (used to be the only way). They won’t do anything about it but hey it’s worth a shot.
Open the ticket again as unresolved and ask them to escalate it. For some reason the first tier of GMs are almost useless and give you scripted responses.

Gms have almost zero knowledge of the game now and is purely a script based job now.
I still feel they should have never gone away from the “outsiders” style of GMing.
When they walked the game it felt more fun, the rare times you interacted with them.
(Outsiders was a term for gms on the rp servers)
My favorite lack of knowledge was when I decided to try for the https://www.wowhead.com/item=43962/reins-of-the-white-polar-bear and for some reason the quest wasn’t there.
I had the vrykul illusion, but couldn’t get the quest.
Opened a ticket and the gm tells me “the cataclysm changed things and I would have to redo quests for a zone.”
I had to tell him that was true for the original zones not wrath.
Then tells me I would have to do the chain to get to that point, problem with that one is the character I was on had the loremaster for the whole xpac.
I had to log out of my character to get them to reset out whatever to get it going again.
Took 15 min for what should have just been done immediately, oh well.
Sorry for the rant, always makes me laugh.

I had this same thought. I was thinking these GM’s don’t even know what I’m referring to lol

Yeah, they told someone last week that the reason they can’t apply a socket to a piece they used a trophy on was because weekly rewards don’t have the ability to proc a socket.
I’ve gotten multiple pieces that have socketed. Even if they didn’t, that’s a terrible response to a bug. They really are clueless for the most part.

Hell I got one just this week.
If I rp real hard in my ticket then somehow it gets resolved first try without having to escalate it. It’s almost like the first level can’t read what I’m saying so they just go ahead and move me on up.

I don’t know if this is a bug or w/e but after I received my white boneboi mount, my vicious saddle progress bar jumped up immediately to 14%. Does it save progress from previous season or something?
I wish we could exchange our saddles for like a 470 piece or some sh*t if we have all the mounts. I cant bring my self to delete them so i got a bag dedicated to them in the bank
Not sure if anyone has said this yet. But if you’re using 2v2 to farm, you don’t get a full 1% per win. You get something like 0.3%. So you need like 3 wins to actually get a full percent. And the bar seems to always round up. So you could be at 99.3% but the bar shows 100%. This happened to me a few seasons ago where I got to 100% but didn’t get my saddle, and I just needed to win 1-2 more games to get it.
If that’s what you’re experiencing, I don’t think its a bug but rather poor design with how the progress bar is displayed.
