Vestments of the Eternal Traveler Transmogrification Set

Neat. Now. Can you make the vestments from the soul trader pet transmograble?

Please.

Totally found this out by accident over 2 weeks ago. Someone in a BG summoned the NPC and I was able to pick up the quest. And I was able to turn it in when I bumped into someone with the mount. Thanks for the free set, because that mount is ugly and I wasn’t paying for it.

Ah yes.

“I don’t want them anyway so misleading everyone is fine NBD.”

Glad I waited before impulsively buying.

I just got the base version. Thanks, I don’t need a boost or the mount. Glad I didn’t waste money

why are people mad? if you got shadowlands you get the mog, if you dont have shadowlands u dont get the mog whats the rage here?

Go look at the store, at the various editions of Shadowlands. It’s heavily implied that the only people who get the vestments are those who are buying the collector’s or better.

implied but never stated outright. people need to read it over a few times before popping 50 bucks

Yes, like reading how literally nowhere at all in any of the information provided for base level shadowlands does it mention that you’ll be given the set that is only advertised on Collector’s edition or above.

I leave blizz 3 years a go, I pay with gold 30 days more just for double check i take the right decision.

Yeah, i take it. Stop play Wow. You are feeding a greed Activision company that already absorbed Blizzard years ago and no longer care about players anymore.

Right… which is why it’s misleading. Blizzard presented the transmog set as a feature of owning the mount and depicted it as part of the heroic and epic editions of shadowlands. That is indeed misleading.

People come here with terrible excuses like “well they never said it was exclusive” Nothing across these editions are stated as exclusive but is still taken to be such. When have ‘deluxe’ edition bonuses been made available to everyone regardless of purchase?

The mount doesn’t say it’s “exclusive” but nobody expects to be able to obtain it in-game from an NPC regardless of which edition they own.

“Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus instant access to a Level 120 Character Boost and the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount.”

Which means you get the Ensorcelled Everwyrm with this version.

“The flying mount grants a quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set.”

Which does not claim this is obtained by buying the upgrade. It is a feature of the mount, not exclusive to the owner. I am not sure if there are any mounts or pets that have these kind of extras that are just usable by the owner.

Seems like people are just getting upset over really nothing or just want to argue especially those who didn’t even pre-purchase.

You can’t name other mounts/pets from ‘deluxe’ editions of the game that offer quests which are exclusive to the owner - can you point to other examples where where they offer quests available to non-owners?

That’s most of the internet.

I can point at pets from the CCG and high priced mounts. Again you don’t even own it, what is it to you? You read it wrong, move on.

well what pets and mounts are you specifically talking about?

And what it is to me is the next time Blizzard trys to sell something to its playerbase. We’re just coming off the WC3 Reforged s**tshow and this is looking like a trending behavior from ActiBlizzion

So just to be clear you are now moving on from complaining about the CE that you don’t own to complaining about WC3 reforged that you don’t own?

Are you going to answer the question that you’ve dodged for two posts or not?

You can point at them for what, to say they exist? They’re not in the same classification of mount or pet that we’re looking at here, which is upgraded editions of expansions.

Once you realize that, you see the problem.

No, there is no problem. You got exactly what you paid for. You got the mount which gives a quest for the vestments. You assumed (incorrectly) that the quest was only available to the mount owner.

Add the quest givers model from the mount, Skinny Kultiran for character customization
