I’m happy for you in that you don’t see it as a problem.
But there is a problem. Your refusal to acknowledge it is not my problem.

Again there is not a problem. You claiming that there is a problem does not mean there is one. You got EXACTLY what you paid for and are upset over a misassumption on your part. I for one actually enjoy being on the mount and letting others get the quest. Just like I announce when I drop a Blingtron.
So again you misassumption does not mean there is a problem.
I think that’s a gross misstatement on your part of what the issue is. Maybe comprehension (or a lack of it) is why you don’t get the problem.
Good for you?
Last I checked, you didn’t pay real money for the Blingtron.
No this is 100% the issue. You assumed wrong and when you found that out are upset. Read the description, you 100% got what is listed there. You got the mount and the mount offers a quest to the tmong.
Yes it is.
Irrelivent to the problem being your misassumption.
So yeah, it’s a lack of comprehension on your part. Gotcha.
K.
Actually, no. It’s a terrible example for what you’re trying to say.
I find it odd that so many people ‘assumed incorrectly’ or ‘misread’ something, yet Blizzard isn’t to blame for misleading their consumers.
Again, you got 100% exactly what you paid for. You are trying to claim malfeasance based on your own misassumption. There is nothing else about this. You assumed wrong and are upset about it.
Once again it is not. You are making the claim that because the mount was purchased that the quest portion being available to everyone is some kind of dirty trick by Blizzard.
Assumed wrong about what?
That a bonus only explicitly mentioned in the $60/80 versions of the expansion would not be handed to anyone who happened to grab the quest?
That Blizzard might at least explicitly state if a bonus was available for others, since that isn’t difficult?
That people like you on these forums wouldn’t try to blame people for being upset due to an error or omission on Blizzard’s part?
You’re right. I shouldn’t trust Blizzard, because Blizzard’s been proving undeserving of customer trust as of late.
I’m claiming it’s misleading. Because it is misleading. If it was an error, there needed to be an apology. If it wasn’t an error and just very poorly communicated, the communication error needed to be fixed at a bare minimum. And no, a forum post is not a “fix” for this kind of communication error.
Since neither of those things happened…
Actually go read it again. What is described as the bonus for those versions is getting the mount. You are then told one of the features of that mount is that it gives a quest for the tmog.
So yes, you assuming that quest was just for you was your misassumption.
Again you got EXACTLY what you paid for.
Which again is you claiming it is an error when it was not. You then claiming it was poorly communicated which is just your opinion.
“Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus instant access to a Level 120 Character Boost and the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount.”
Did you not get any of these?
“The flying mount grants a quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set.”
Does your mount not grant this?
This is you being upset because you assumed the mount only granted you the quest despite no where it making any mention of that. This is you claiming Blizzard is untrustworthy because you assumed wrong and others can also get the quest w/o owning the mount.
So again you are upset that you flying mount grants the quest to other people when you thought it was a you exclusive. That is 100% your misassumption.
i kind of agree but at the same time it doesnt say that the mog is exclusive.
The entirety of your post just reeks of miscomprehension and trolling. Which, tbh, I’m not unused to coming from you.
It’s okay. I’m used to trolls defending stupidity like this. Nothing new, and you’re one of the regulars in that department, as can be seen in your replies. You have no interest in actually discussing the point, your refutations are misguidedly childish in that you don’t seem to understand the issue to begin with while intentionally misrepresenting it as if you do, and if I didn’t know better I’d say you’re actually happy that something like this happened.
It’s okay that you don’t understand why people are upset, Hamstar. It’s not okay for you to childishly point at a lack of clarification from Blizzard and basically say “Look! It’s not explicitly written down as not available for someone else (despite not being mentioned except for two specific editions) so you should assume you’re being lied to.” That’s what we call blaming the wrong side of the argument, which is particularly hilarious when it comes to discussing Blizzard, who has built a reputation as of late for this kind of miscommunication.
Oh, and peace. Not interested in listening to you spew more garbage.
Which again is nothing more then you upset because you assumed despite you obtaining exactly what you paid for 100% as advertised. So when you say they were “intentionally misrepresenting”, I say you are absolutely wrong. It is also funny you try and claim I am the childish troll when you are the one now resorting to insults and going after personal attacks instead of the issue at hand.
It is also funny that you are arguing opinions vs. facts. It is a 100% fact that you got exactly what was advertised. It is an opinion that you believe you were some how deceived, one which I do not share based on the fact that you got exactly what was advertised.
Frankly I see you all the time on this forum starting arguments because someone has a different opinion.
The vestments were advertised as being in the heroic+ edition. Anyone not blind can see the base version was advertised as only the expansion.
I really think you like to argue for the sake of arguing. I don’t understand why you feel the need to always do so.
actually, rereading it in the shop" Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus instant access to a Level 120 Character Boost and the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount. The flying mount grants a quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set." i agree that its false advertising. While it doesnt explicitly say that its only for people with heroic, the base doesn’t say that it comes with the option to accept the quest. it also shows the mog on the icon when u are purchasing it, which it doesnt show on the base. Also, it says plus basically saying that this mog and mount are part of the heroic edition. The base says this “Includes a pre-purchase* of World of Warcraft®: Shadowlands and early access to Death Knights for Allied Races and Pandaren starting with the Visions of N’Zoth content update.” says nothing to do with the mog
I have this set and didn’t rush to get it. It doesn’t glow or look super awesome at all. I think from time to time it should glow or sparkle or something at least. I mean how many sparkle armor pieces are there? None right? Make it happen!
It’s constantly “collecting souls” in the shoulder bubbles. I just got it, had the quest since it was available. I mostly do m+, though, I really only got it because I’m forced to do dailies now.
But it doesn’t sparkle O.O That is pretty neat tho!
The quest giver model looks like a Thin Kultiran human model, looks cool with the transmog armor
If you think I can be bothered to read your wall of text I’ve got news for you
i was agreeing with you, but whatever. apparently a paragraph is considered a wall of text these days.
