You mean crappy crit? I will say WoD stats where more fun than the current selection of 4 stats. Ah who am I kidding multistrikes procing of a multistrike that proced of a multistrike was kinda fun.

I miss multistrike, while it really was just another - even more random - crit, it was always fun to see your spells hit multiple time.
of the stats to be carried forward from WoD, I’m disappointing vers was.

Versatility came out in WoD.
It doesn’t do anything fancy, just boosts damage, healing, and reduce damage. I’d scrap it and put a couple more different secondary stats. Something NEW, changing it up so it forces people to try and learn something different. You could throw in Multi-strike again but have it not crit (if it ever did crit…donno).

Multi felt a lot more rewarding for the amount of it invested than Versa.
I also dearly miss Multi-Strike. It was a fun secondary stat (and we know how Blizzard responds to fun things… they remove them).

I honestly don’t remember how good it actually was, but it felt fun to stack, haste and crit are similar stats, you can visibly see their effects when you use abilities, through casting abilities faster, and critical hits.
vers, and for some specs mastery, just don’t have that same fun factor imo.

It is a different variation of additional damage.
Versatility is just everything now does x.x% more damage. Which could be argued to be exactly the same as your primary stat… Int… Agi… Str…
The same could be said about Mastery… it just increases x ability damage by x.
