why I have a tin foil hat here.

My havoc DH’s who need this…tend not to get it without some effort.

Now other classes who this is dead last or close to it…this stuff drops like rain.

Scrap Vers, just get rid of it. It’s a boring utilitarian stat. Put in something new, like a Secondary that increases the proc rate of trinkets and spells or something.

Boring and lazy. You can make a “Do more damage” stat at least sound a lot cooler. Like multistrike.

But it also reduces damage taken

So are you for Versatility or against it?

You never really made your opinion known, other than your apparent dislike of Multi-Strike.

I like versatility. Multi was fine but it is critical strike. At least vers gives another side to it: damage reduction.

Technically it is functioning the same as another stat we have though… It is on every piece of armor you have.

Armor. Armor reduces all damage taken by x amount.

Then you have Stamina, also enabling you to take more damage without dying.
Versatility seems like nothing more than a third wheel.

oh your talking cause it was proc based and increasing the stat increased your chances of having it happen. I’m presuming this is why you are relating the two.

I’m trying to find something wrong with a stat that gives me a flat damage increase and a damage taken decrease and to be honest, I can’t. But haters are gonna hate.

I thought armor was just physical

Armor and your primary stat do the exact same thing.

Why do we need a redundant addition to the 2 primary things we already have plenty of.

It’s like saying I hate a primary stat cause that’s about all it is.

It is all damage.

The only stat I really miss is hitrating. How many times did you use a lower ilvl item because you dropped below your hit cap?

I definitely do not miss hit rating, at all.

A good chunk of Mastery for specs are “Mastery increases the damage of X, Y, And Z” so really it just feels like another, lesser Mastery

I think it and all other stats are too complex. We need to continue the prune.

We need only 2 stats, “Good” and “Bad”. You can guess how they work.

Hit points are also unnecessarily complicated, we need to get rid of number-y things and only have 2 states: “Less Dead” and “Deader”.

I’d also prefer if we had more RNG in the game. I’d like my character select screen be totally randomized for every toon with variable names, -ilevels- replace item levels with either “Starter” or “Tryhard Neckbeard no lifer ML abuser toxic elitist raiderIO exlusionister” titles decided at random, etc.

Any type of mechanics can go because they rip people off and who needs that.

I’d also like the world to feel bigger, so I think we should make Daze last for 48 hours if hit from behind. Daze should also remove the ability to mount because it’s hard for me to learn a stranger’s life story unless we are perfectly level with each other while riding around doing WQs together like all strangers do nowadays.

Rotations make me dizzy, so we need to focus on only auto attack builds. And by builds I mean set talents and by set talents I mean we don’t get to pick any anymore.

We also need a new type of m+, called mythic÷. In order to beat the time, you can rush to the end boss and kill it without worrying about trash. However, the amount of trash in the form of that dungeon’s specific trash will appear randomly (NEED MORE RNG) during a boss encounter in your next m+ and m÷.

I have so many more ideas! Hire me Blizz, your company won’t live to regret it!

Versatility is extremely boring and I don’t even notice any difference when I get more.
