Hey I plan on getting the venomhide mount and im on my 2nd day. Its been 24 hours since ive last done the quest the pet is supposed to give me. But when I summon him he doesnt offer a quest. Any idea why this is the case?
The quest chain involves returning to Mor’vek once a day for 20 days and training your hatchling through the daily quest he assigns you.
You have to return to the original quest giver, the pet doesn’t give the quest.
I just finished the quest line a couple days ago. I don’t think you get a quest on the second day, because you end up doing two on day one. But, in case I’m wrong it could just be low level and won’t show for you unless you’ve got low level quests on. You can still pick up the quest off the raptor though.
Nah i got the quest and the lil raptor pet it just wont show me a quest off the pet
They just told you, you have to go back to the quest giver every day to get the new quest
I never went back to the quest giver. I just flew to Un’Goro/Tanaris everyday, summoned the raptor everyday and grabbed the quest off it. Unless it’s broken now.
This entire thing is false. You summon the hatchling in either Tanaris or Un’guru and get the quest from it.
OP: if you’re high level you should turn on trival quests or, just talk to your dinosaur after summoning. There should be a quest for you
EDIT: for the final turn in, you do return to the original quest giver.

are you sure, did you talk to the creature? Keep in mind that if you don’t have “show trivial quests” turned on you might not see the “!”. Just talk to the baby ravasaur there should be a quest. It’s not every 24 hours, the it’s the standard daily reset (on my server it’s 8:15 am server time).
Can confirm the quest is from the baby dino and resets each day whenever your realm resets dailies (11:00am on Maladath). Can also confirm if you’re high level you won’t see the ! and have to actually click on the baby dino.
The only thing I haven’t seen mentioned is that after summoning it you have to wait a few seconds for the quest to be available. Summon it and wait 5-10 seconds then click it for the quest. I guess it has to load or something.
Yes I did talk to the dino. I also have trivial quests on.
