Velfs got their black and white

Void elf being a paladin doesn’t that go against everything void elves stand for.

Don’t know. The only other answer is it is a stylistic choice of Blizzard to make sure playable regular orcs remain green to fit the lore they want.

It has to actually exist. And it doesn’t.

Yep it does.

It’s more that it violently clashes with what they are.

Alternatively, they forgot. Occam’s Razor and all.

It does exist. Being aluded to has been a staple of lore for years. As an example we knew shaman used a form of life magic(what with the use of spirit magic/healing magic) it wasnt until Chronicles before that was confirmed.

No it doesn’t. There are scholars studying. Nothing more. Your headcanon isn’t lore. Blizzard can easily add lore for a new gen of Velfs. But they haven’t. So until they do, you’re just headcanon.

The new skins are canon. There is nothing in lore stating they are not.

Gameplay mechanics aren’t lore. Helfs are not Velfs.

Nothing in lore state new Void Elf skin is canon, and if I remember there is a blue stating it is not canon.

We have Alleria, literal proof void elves can retain their natural skin. Also I am sure there is no such blue post.

At this point neither of us will convince the other because until we go back to Azeroth we will likely not be seeing any new void elf character, corrupted or normal looking.

Alleria is an anomaly even among Void Elves. She was “converted” through a completely different process than Umbric’s people, which makes her situation unique among “void-mutated elves.”

I think that falls more in line with Night Elf / Nightborne, when it comes to aesthetics imo.

And it is proof there are other method to make someone a void elf.

Collapsing void-infused Naaru aren’t exactly dime-a-dozen.

But learning about the void and being able to use their powers is relatively easy. Just ask any shadow priest(again one of the reason that makes void elves sort of a bad idea because blood elven shadow priest are probably closer to the void then regular void elves who are not shadow priest and yet these guys are not void elves)

Who wasn’t created as a Velf the same way. And there’s no lore right now that says they figured out how to replicate a similar process.

Again: headcanon.

And again, we have high elves/blood elves going to Telragus and learning about it. If any of them decided to identity with the group that we call void elves, congrats, they are now void elves.
