Please fix the game.

(I am but a lowly 4/5 keyer blood dk unaffected because I run with friends.)
Please remove double sigils, this will surely fix everything wrong with S4.
It would a whole lot. More than you can understand my friend.
And yet, as a healer, I hate to heal DHs lol
the game is perfectly fine, if u wanna push world first highest keys, then play the meta.
there will always be a meta.
huh? DH’s dont need a healer - no tanks need a healer except brewmaster.
healers are entirely irrelevant to tanks.
there will always be some guy who thinks he is so insightful posting things like this. as if there weren’t 5-7 other seasons where the meta was more inclusive than the past 3 seasons.
no one said metas don’t exist. the discrepancy is the issue. stop talking cause you don’t think good.
I love healing VDH, pug dps are so bad at cc that a good vdh is a gift. They need very little help from me, usually none, and they do enough cc for the group to get by even if the three dps don’t help. I think all tanks should be this good at CC, and stop tuning the game around dps knowing how to do anything because they don’t and it makes healing dreadful. At the same time, give healers more healing/passive groupwide dr and remove some of the healing/defensives from dps who don’t use them well or at all. The disparity between good dps and bad dps is way too high and it impacts healers (see top keys having any portion done without a healer in the instance)
It might just be the copium tank i have jammed into my arm, but i think the tanking disparity will become less egregious once more people build up to reasonable ilvls, the early push groups are leading with dh since it was so dominant in s3 and really hasnt been hindered in any way since.
Yes, it’s fine if there’s a meta. The meta should not be miles ahead of everything else.
I hope you have about 10 tanks of copium left to get you through the season because you’re going to need it. More gear will not solve this issue, this is a design issue.
Mage, lock, shadowpriest, aug scale with mob count much better than every other class with hard caps like fury warrior, outlaw rogue, etc. The most effective way to scale damage is by scaling mob count. That means to time keys you need to pull big.
The thing this group lacks the most is kicks / stops compared to melee counter parts. Otherwise, they destroy melee dps in scaling. VDH and prot pally both enable these dps combos because of the insane amount of stops they have compared to other tanks. It makes melee dps obsolete. Not only would nerfing VDH dampen the tank issues, it would alleviate the mage, aug, X combo we’ve seen for the last year.
I main human holy paladin. My entire life is perpetual copium LOL.
Most if not all balancing comes from RAID. Its a byproduct of what classes become meta in M+. VDH/Rdruid/Mage/Spriest is absolutely a joke atm. This close to TGP Id be surprised if they did any balancing that will make sense. Theres a rumor that there is a balancing pass coming tues.
Okay yeah but sometimes there’s a spec so good it pushes alternatives off the table and limits diversity
Fire mage is 6 key levels ahead of Sin rogue, and 4 key levels ahead of another 5 dps specs.
How come nobody is making a fuss about this?
then play it if u want to do those levels of keys?
Because outlaw is just fine? Asking people to play a different spec is a lot different than asking people to maintain a 2nd character. It is the same thing about asking someone to play a different role. I wouldn’t expect a dps warrior to want to tank, but he/she should be able to play at least arms or fury.
Also, mage, aug, spriests, lock are so good is because vdh / pala have infinite kicks to compensate for that synergy. If you nerf vdh and pala stops, you are directly nerfing caster viability.
That image doesn’t really help. It doesn’t quantify.
Someone post a clean pic of the 20th page of raiderio listed by rank where all the tanks are still VDH.
But honestly, it doesn’t matter- it’s a gimme season, and the game is pretty easy outside of a gimme season, too. Nothing to get too sweaty about. I understand the alure if you’re finally done with school and taking a break before entering the workforce to see how hard you can push, but outside of that, “why do we fight?”
Do people not like strong tanks in this game? I think it’s a good thing that at least one tank is busted as opposed to having none that are busted.
